BEECH BEND 2 coasters in 2 years

http://www.beechbend.com/Amusement%20Park.htm

Seems like the small park in bowling green wants to expand by major terms. This year they are getting a spinning wild mouse and next year they are getting a giant, YES GIANT gci woody!!!!!

HECK YEAHS YALL>...

This means there going to have 4 coasters in their park soon. This small park is growing faster than most. I LOVE IT>

Why do I get the feeling we might see something more major at SFKK in the next couple of years than just a ProSlide Tornado? Anyway, yeah, it's pretty sweet they are expanding that much. I've wanted to go to this park for a while but never got around to it. They are really growing nicely.

I had never heard of this park before.

Could Thunderhead have a big brother up the road soon??? he he

Man that would be awesome to have one similar to Thunderhead.

I'm hoping to go to SFKK and Holiday world this summer, I might have to make a stop here. Looks like they have a lot of flats.

/\There's another link to renderings, I think...

This is cool! The more GCI's, the better!

Those renderings on GCI's site are for the new one at Power Park, not the one Beech Bend.

^^ I got all excited. But so far GCI has been great each one that I've ridden.

And those sweet MFlyer trains mean that they can really do some "twisted" layouts now and save on space.

Well, I wouldn't want a new clone of TH or anything, especially since it's so close to it, but I think he meant like a coaster like it with a lot of airtime and non-stop action.

^^ And this suprises you...how??? Please clarify...lol

Six Flags is going to have to dig out of their debt load before we'll see any more years with a lot of expansion.

yeah SFKK needs a complete redesign. Six Flags cant do that money wise so I see nothing but bleakness for sfkk in the future if Beech Bend keeps expanding. Beech Bends little looper looks small and all but it looks fun too. When these two coasters open it WILL be a desirable place to visit.

GEESE this place has it all. drag racing, an oval racetrack, a campground, a water park and soon these coasters will make a great place better.

How big of a park is Beech Bend? Is it somewhere you'd need to spend more than 6 hours?

I'm thinking of stopping by there this summer when hopefully I'll be going to HW, SFKK, PKI.

Wes, Beech Bend is small. 6 hours should be more than enough time to spend there and hit all the major attractions. I spent about 4 hours there, and that was plenty. I'm excited about the new coaster additions. They're exactly what BB has needed!

Its good that this park is growing. I love to see this happen. Plus a great new GCI is coming. I wish I could get to this park in '06.
