SFMM 2005 improments

First, Colossus has got new black trains as seen at http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/roll...%20Updates.htm

And it seems like they are going to do something to the monorail stations as they have put up some construction walls at the entre(can't remember how to say it) to the station, also seen at http://www.angelfire.com/weird2/roll...%20Updates.htm

And third and last, they have also put up some construction wall at Flashback's entre(can't remember how to say it)...

So, SFNN ARE improming with the things they have, and that are very good... And I'm very happy to see this... :-d Keep up the good work, SFMM!!!

I went to SFMM in summer 2004. Colossus always had the black trains, they just were not being used. Only the red side was being used, the black side wasn't. In fact, the black side did not even have a chain on the lift hill. Yeah only the red side had a chain!! Does this mean they put on a new chain for the black side? Also, did they close the red side? If you dont believe me, I took a picture on the lift showing that only one side had a chain. Also, boarding up rides is not usually a good sign. Last summer, the monorail and Flashback were not open. Boarding them up most likely indicates they will not be open any time soon.

The black trains look pretty cool. But boarding up stuff is an indication that it pry won't be opening anytime soon, if ever.

I walked by that boarded up entrance of Flashback up the exit to a metal barrier to study the lower structure of it. I probably will never be able to ride the painful ride but at least I was there in person to check it out, the only one in the world.

Some of the boarded up areas (mostly those around the Metro) may have something to do with the new addition for 2006, although I am not certain yet. The speculation is that the details about it are to be revealed in the near future, perhaps even over the next week or so. Whatever it is, the latest I hear is that it will be located on top of and around the mountain.

I'd take any type of relief for not being able to ride a single thing on top of that mountain when I went last month. Nothing on Samurai Summit Nothing.

Well, WCB is Sunday March 13th, and I'm flying out there to visit.

To me, the biggest problem is the 1 train operation on some coasters like Riddler and Batman. They've got to get all the coasters working again, with all trains running, to move the crowds. From what I hear, Superman is working, but Deja-Vu is down for repair.

^Me too!! It's my first time in Cali (hence my first time at SFMM) so I'm really excited to go out there (not just the park, but cali in general). I'm leaving Saturday and I cant wait!

Is the monrail closed? It has to be for the station to be. Or at least one of the stations are closed, but I don't know how they would get around that.

The station looks like it needs a lot of work, IMO. It doesn't look like it's been used in a while.

WHat amazes me is that this is supposed to be the flagship of the Six Flags chain, and it looks like it is falling apart! Has SFGrAdv now become the flagship park? Because...GrAdv is in much better shape than MM.

Yeah, it seems like the park has gone downhill since they've added all of those coasters to become the park with the most, and Cedar Point didn't want to give that one up.

The park is just so big that a lot of things are being overlooked, and the priority list is a little messed up.

I hope this off year they will get everything back to it's glory like they need to.
