X-car Parque de Atracciones

I did a little search and didn't see anything, so I'm starting this thread.

I guess it should be 2006 construction, but anyway. Has anyone seen this new ride? http://rcdb.com/ig3185.htm?picture=3 It looks crazy. I had never even heard of this X-car style of coaster, but apparently there are two more of these.
http://rcdb.com/installationresult.h...=1,2&model=262

I guess I missed the boat or something, but this is the first I've heard of these coasters. They look great, but has anyone been on G Force at Drayton Manor? How was it?

Man, I so was gonna start a thread just like this, but only when the 2006 construction forum came out. Oh well. This coaster is pretty sweet. I love this one a lot. http://rcdb.com/ig3185.htm?picture=3 It is just so unique and all. Its "SkyWheel plus Extension" Do you get this idea to start the thread after reading the article on RCDB? I bet you did. haha. This is just one of the most coolest coasters I have seen.

I haven't ridden it. lol. I did start a thread about Sky Wheel now that I think of it. http://thrillnetwork.com/boards/show...ight=sky+wheel

But this thread is about the type of ride in general. I bet the coaster is awesome. With Sky Wheel plus expansion, I bet It makes the ride 10 times more fun.

"The Sky Wheel uses a vertical lift" It is not a launch. For all you NL junkies, you could ride Sky Wheel yourself!! http://www.coastersims.com/viewcoaster.asp?id=10601

Its a pretty accuarte design IMO.

So what are you saying? You are going to try to create Sky Wheel or Sky Wheel plus expansion? Sky Wheel has already been done. Sky Wheel plus would be pretty cool to see.

RCDB used to have a model and rendering pic of the final expansion...But it's nowhere on there anymore. If I remember correctly, it had a vertical loop and cobra roll. I think that's pretty cool how they'll expand the coaster, I don't think that's happened before. It should be a very unique and cool coaster when complete.

What I don't get is why you made a new thread on this topic, theres already two threads open where you can discuss this topic.

Ok, I think I might be getting confused here. So let me try to clear some things out.

I know that they are thinking about expanding Sky Wheel. Is that what you are talking about Eastcoaster? Having a loop and a cobra roll.

But they are also building the regular Sky Wheel plus a few extra elements correct?

Well, how many 'new' inverters out there have 'just' a lap bar to hold you in? Not many. Plus have you not seen the lift hill? To me that look pretty insane. You cant please everyone I suppose. Personally I'm really looking forward to it. Your telling me that you wouldnt be exited if one of these was installed at your local theme park? Are you one of those who judges coasters by their size? If so, biggest isnt always best.

The X car has some of the craziest layouts I've ever seen. If you look at the site at some of the layouts you'll see what I mean.
Some tracks have "sea saw" track. The train goes on at one end and the track tips forward connecting to another part of track.

All they are going to do is add onto the Skywheel that is already up and running...I don't think they are building another one.

I think that there is already a Sky Wheel built. http://www.rcdb.com/qs.htm?quicksearch=skywheel This is the one I am taking about. This ride might also get a an expansion.

Now this is a way different Sky Wheel with a little more kick too it. http://www.rcdb.com/id3185.htm
