Kingda Ka Status update Thread

Since the moderator closed the 2005 construction thread(even though Kingda Ka is NOT open). We will hopefully use this thread to keep the status of Kingda Ka operational status.

Also, please don't close a thread unless you read the entire history. A lot of people were reading the 2005 construction thread to keep tabs on the status of Kingda Ka since it is not open.

Shouldn't this thread go under "Rollercoasters" as it's technically not 2005 construction any more and has already been opened?

^ I agree...Kingda Ka isn't under constrcution, it's just being repaired.

As for your two posts, why didn't you just used the edit button? I understand your new but theres just some things that are kinda obvious.

And if there was any status on Kingda Ka, we would know it. If Six Flags even had a approximate date, they would be advertising it. So, why are you guys so damn worried about when this coaster is going to open. Yes, there might be a crane on site, but by the looks of it, its not even near the launch track. And even when these parts are installed you can bet that New Jersey will probably make this thing makes 100s of launches before they pass it again. Just be patient, it'll eventually open. And if that's next year, oh well...All coasters have problems. Theres nothing you can do about that.

Anyhow, I did a little searching (another fun feature of this site) and found out another KK thread. I'm closing this one and directing everyone there.

Second, KK is not still under construction. People have been on it, so you cannot consider it as such.
