I think I would like the Disk-Os better if they didn't have those horrible back retraints. Otherwise, I thought the one at Cypress Gardens was pretty good.

I am so glad SDC is finally getting some flats. The coasters are fun there but I went when all the kids went back to school and the park was literally empty. I wish there were some flats because powder keg broke down and all I was riding was WF TNT and FIH. It got pretty boring but I did enjoy marathoning WF.

^Amazing enough there is MORE TO DO at Silver Dollar City than just RIDES. The have some of the best entertainment offered at any park in the US (ESPECIALLY NOW @ Chirstmas Time).

Cool

I have to say I like the color scheme on SDC's Waver Swinger better than Dollywood's. I think DW Wave Swinger almost looks tacky. Too bad the park didn't buy one of the classic Zierier ones instead - Can't you just imagine the beautiful murals on it depicting scenes in the Smoky Mountains?

I really like the direction that the Herschend parks are heading. The Grand Exposition looks like it will greatly compliment the 1800s theme of Silver Dollar City without too much of a shock, plus all the attention to detail is no less than Disney quality.

I feel all these expansions are proving that HFE is a force to be reckoned with in the amusement industry. I would love to see the company expand all across the United States, as it would be a sharp contrast/alternative to Six Flags, Paramount, Cedar Fair etc.

It will be interesting to see where Silver Dollar City heads from here.

Man, CC could not have chosen worse movies for their new attraction. Hopnestly, Agent Cody Banks? You're kidding.

SDC is going to have a great 2006 season.

They had to go with movies that the could get. This isn't a productions studio based park afterall. But you also have to remember that these are movies that kids can relate to.

Grand Exposition construction is underway now http://www.midwestinfoguide.com/silver/expo/120605/ at Silver Dollar City

It being so close to the highway is really scary. Initially I knew it would be close, but I didn't think it was *this* close. I hope they do something to block it and pipe some loud music in the area to block the noise.

I was looking at an aerial view of the park on the new Microsoft-local thing and with all the land around the park, and as far out as the train goes, why did they decide to expand in this area?

Convenience and the fact they have plans for that area. Remember that Coaster Con will be held here in 2009.
