| | | Break time Do you eat inside or outside? When you are going to go on your meal break do you go inside the cafeteria or do you get your food and head out to the picnic tables. I always choose outside its less crowded and I hate ajusting from being in ac to hot outside again how about you?

| | | Depends on where I am, weather, what I want to eat etc. At Cedar Point we have a break area in the back of the park that has a grill where you can get burgers and such. So the food is just as good if not better than the caf.
Two words. "Patty Melt" The most yummy thing ever to come from that break area. After I discovered the wonderful fattening taste of the patty melt I started breaking in the back of the park more often.

| | | Working at Cedar Point, we really couldn't step "out" (it was impractical), so most of us actually bought stuff from places like the employee cafeteria (or the "cafe" -- pronounced like "caf"), or toward the back, we had the Stockade.
Sometimes, depending on what was up, I would even make sandwiches since I didn't want to eat cafe food all the time. |

| | | yeah it depends on if i'm with a group or by myself. if i'm with a group of people we usually go to the employee cafe (pronounced Caf-ay) lol, but if i'm by myself i would probably eat outside. or it depends on what i want to eat. if i want something out in the park then i'll eat outside. it just all depends. most of the time i'm in the cafe, it's WAAAAYYYY CHEAPER in there.

| | | The break area in frontier town area at CP (Stockade) is outdoors and has hot food so any employees working in that area are content with that. Plus, many employees are smokers so having an outside break area is quite convenient.

| | | At Hershey we are not allowed to eat or take break inside the park. But we do have an employee cafeteria (CoasterCafe). Usually we have a 45-min break but there are TV's in the caf and if you drive or on break with people who drive then maybe you can go to Wendy's which is only less than a quarter mile away. |

| | | I usually take a 45 minute break also. But, if we really need to get back, they would give us a 30 minute. But, I like walking around after sitting/standing all day.

They are great. Though I still remember the day my bipolar alcoholic roomate about had a heart attack when they took it off the menu later in the season. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
