What type of perks does your park give you for a job well done.

Carowinds works on a points system and you can redeem points for park stuff and a bunch of other treats.

Carowinds employee site is not updated yet and when it does i will list what kinds od perks we get.

I do however know one is Dollywood tickts cause i got some last season.

At Lake Compounce if you do something above normal you get an Applaudes card. After 3 of them you get a bonus, I believe it is 10 dollars. At the end of the season there is a drawing and you can win prizes. We also have Team member of the week awards.

At Cedar point we have a few things. One being Employee of the week, you get your picture taken and hung in the two main employee eating areas. The other is our cornerstones, there are five of them (Safety, Courtesy, Cleanliness, Service and Integrity) and after you have recieved three of them, you get a pin you get to wear on your Uniform.

In my two seasons I've only seen one merchandise employee wearing a cornerstone award though. So it does kinda depend on the dept at CP.

We do have perfect attendance awards though. Goes something like this...

1st month- coupon for employee cafeteria
2nd month- water bottle
3rd month- hat
4th month- umbrella
5th month- pen and pencil set

Thats not exactly right but thats the jyst of it.

It's still a park wide thing, it's up to the supervisors and managers to give those out

I got a teamwork award at PCW for getting 50 cycles on Top Gun. Other times, if you reach a certain number, you get an ACE award or even free pizza.

Going on with the ACE awards, when you submit the slip, you are entered in a weekly (or was it biweekly) draw for stuff. I won a pair of $10 famous players gift certificates once.

For some reason, I have never thought of parks giving out awards. I guess It makes since. Its just a little something special for doing something great. I wonder what SFFT gives out? Any one know? James doesn't post any more on forums, so that marks him out.

I don't remember exactly, it's been almost 2 years since I worked there. I remember the winners were printed on the attractions newsletter whenever that was published.

I just remebered Carowind does have an award but can't remeber what it's. But just outside the Security Post there are employees names engraved in the brick walkway.

I'll have to look at it closer next time and see whats it's for.

If your a good employee and they notice how good you have been doing, you will become a service superstar. You get a gold nametag and a certificate and a free 1 hour lunch.

well I work at (PKD) and they give out prizes, we have a thing called Star Cards and 4 every 10 cards you get a prize 10=pen 20=hat thats all I got. And I was associate of the week
