When they are officially measured, they get the wristband indicating their min height requirement. When they have the wristband, I still "measure" them with the "candy cane", but I don't have to make a judgement call or take it a step further by using the height bar. | I do the exact same thing. Especially first thing in the morning, so they do not have to deal with the same thing every time they try to ride Talon or Hydra (because they are both 54"). OMG that is terrible. I can't believe you said that. Every time an employee says something stupid to a guest it makes me so mad. I always thought Hershey customer service sucked. That's almost as bad as Gadv customer service cursing people out. Sure you want to say shut up, but you never do. You have to keep your cool. You should be FIRED!!!!!! If you said something stupid like that at Dorney, you would be fired on the spot.

That way it's not just my word, but someone who is "official" and "in charge"
Busch is now also starting to do the wristbands, but we can do them at the rides, not just an official measuring station. So if we see someone that might have a height limit issue, we're supposed to band them now when they're getting in line and first get measured. It doesn't happen as often as it should, but that's what is supposed to happen.

| | | ^I try not to call the supervisor down unless it is a dire situation, because our supervisor is doing work up on the platform. |

| | | Guess I'm spoiled at Rhino. As long as we don't have a situation going on, our supervisor is usually floating around one of the platforms and is easy enough to flag down. They're over there, but it's not working a station, it's floating to be available, accessible, and watching over what's going on, though they'll help out to.

| | | ^alot of times though, it ends up that the second level supervisor is walking around and he can come help you out. Our ride supervisor works the ride, while the area supervisor (a certain group of rides) floats around. |

| | | yeah at kennywood, its the totoal opposite.Supervisors are above the managers At each ride crew we have like 2 or 3 managers, one head and two assistants. They work at the ride and do everything that us regular employees do so they are easy to get a hold of. In the rides department in general, we have supervisors, like 10 of them and they walk around the entire park and just make sure things are running smoothly. So we never call them down if a kid is too short. We just ask who ever is working around us for a second opinion. Now if a parent is making a huge deal and wont listen to our manager, then we call for a supervisor. But that rarely happens. The only time we need a supervisor is if we have an e-stop.
