Annoying Music

Does anyone work at a park where they know the order of the songs, the name of the songs, and all the words to the song, because they listen to the same songs at least 2xs a day?

I definatly have this problem becase the only music played at Geauga Lake is either Jimmy Buffet or The Beach Boys.

Darn Dick's obsession with Jimmy Buffet and the Beach Boys. It carried on to Bill and now on to me.

Well during the summer when I worked many mornings I heard the same exact songs every day. The Tootsie-Roll song, the "ohhh, myyyyyy Sherona" song; wow, they were so annoying I can't even remember anymore.

well i can't really hear the music that they play around the park that much. I know they change it up every other day or something like that. One day they were playing techno music, the next they were playin 80's music. One day they were actually playing up to date music (R&B and Pop) Now i don't think they play music at all. Last sunday they had the steelers game playing all around the park.

While I've never worked at a park, when Top Gun (PC) first opened I got so sick of hearing "Take my breath away". Arggggggggggggggggggggh!

That song is so bad.

I've been very pleased with CP's music loop this year. A few weeks into the season they added a ton of songs into the rotation and maybe its just me being oblvious, but I think they change up the order a little here and there.

Sure the day always starts right around 8:30 with Funky Town blasting in an empty amusement park, but as soon as mid day rolls around there's an assortment of Techno, Instrumentals, Pop, Rock, and many up-to-date songs. I also like how the tone of the music changes throughout the day at CP. They start every morning with the patriotic music after the anthem for an hour or so, then play the main loop throughout the day. Then as night time rolls around they play softer more peaceful tunes.

I dont work at AstroWorld, but I can vouch for the station queue music.
Mayan has 'spooky' music with screams edited in.
Greezey, Texas Cyclone, Viper, XLR8 have the Six Flags TVs and whatever 'channel' that is.
Batman has sirens, police garble, static, and warning sounds.
Ultra Twister has, "Moving conveyor; please watch your step."

I don't work there, but standing in line for anything in Americana or sitting at those tables right by RipCord is a bad choice (unless it's RipCord or Patriot). They have a continuous loop everywhere, but Americana's is the only one with words. It can drive you crazy enough to ride Bamboozler.

I have been pleased with CP's selection this year as well, though I miss one song... I don't know what it's called, but I nicknamed it "Dre Day 3" for no real good reason, but it was a soft, instrumental song.

I remember 3 songs that would annoy me when I worked... "This Kiss", "Love Shack", and "Funky Town", among others. When I've visited... though I found it funny they added the theme from "1941" to their loop.

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

The only songs I remember from CP are
Love Shack (but that was in Johnny Rockets and I made my friend dance to it, so of course I'll remember it)
Respect (same reason as above)
Ready to Go (I think it fits TTD awesome, but would get annoying if I worked there and had to hear it all day)

I've got nearly the entire list of the music they play on the CP midways. They added about 80 songs to the playlist this season. It's great. They also play different music in Frontier Town and Trail and the maXair midway.

The most annoying song ever on a theme park ride would heave to be It's a Small World. I would go crazy if I had to be a ride op on that.
