I read this somewhere today. Its said to be from Nostradamus:
``In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb. The third big war will begin when the big city is burning.

Earthshaking fire from the center of the Earth Will cause the towers around the New City to shake: Two great rocks will war for a long time, and then Arethusa shall color a new river red.``

I don`t put much stock in psychic visions with many possible interpretations, but that`s still creepy.

In regards to the events of today and Nostradamus.

Nostradamus warned of the TERROR FROM THEY SKY around 1999 starting WW III

Nostradamus warned of the FIRE IN THE SKY in the New City around 40 and 5 degrees latitude
(New York is 40.5 degrees)

Famous Nostradamus Translator Sollog warned of 2001 as the year THE USA would be STRUCK!

In the 902 Prophecy Sollog warned of
The BIG BANG IN THE BIG BUILDING between September 2nd and September 16th.

The Sollog "2001 USA TO BE STRUCK" Warning is in his famous US case 96CV 1499.

It has been on file since 1996 in the US Federal court house in Philadelphia

Yeah, I don't believe in the WWIII thing. I mean...the US would just dominate. But if something happens tomorrow in the USA...I'm moving into the mountians for a couple of weeks. There was something going around too about if you add the flight numbers up then it equals the dates of today through friday. That's just coincidence though...right?

First of, nostradomos(sp?) predicted WWI and Hitler, so i think this is a real prediction about this, he aslo predicted a thing about the red army will be part of the 3rd great war. the great army refuring to china, and the third war to WWIII. So i think this is very much true, no counicdent(sp?). And coalhouse, US will NOT dominate in WWIII, the chinese train there army to still go after you if you shoot off there arm, they are not afraid of death, as us Americans are.

Also don't forget the three anti-christs from nostrodamos' (sp??) predictions. The first was Nepolean, the second was Hitler, and the third was supposed to come from the area we now refer to the middle east. And I agree with Serpent King, China is our biggest threat if it ever came to war, these Arabic countries don't hold a candle to America's strength, but China would be an equal advisary. The stuff which happened earlier with Bush and China (the plane incident and the "captive pilots") I thought would lead us into something...we dodged a bullet there, but who's to say Bush won't piss off China one way or another.

As for the other stuff mentioned earlier, that is a curious and interesting prediction by him, and he's been right several times over, but usually what is said in the "prophesies" is so incredibly vague, we make what we want out of them simply because they conveniently fit history or modern day events.

about china being a worthy WWIII adversary: not likely. while they have a huge army, it is relatively poorly trained in comparison to the US's. also, while they have a decent number of warheads, they don't have the missiles to launch them. they've got about 20 ICBM's ready to go, compared to our 2000.

The only likely scenario for a war with china is over taiwan, or possibly getting into a chines/india war somehow. In any event, i think there's an important point to be made regarding the spy plane incident. for several years, more liberal members of the chinese govt/party have been attempting to soften china and open her up to more democratic modes of conduct. fearing they were losing power, hardliners used the spy plane incident as an opportunity to gain their influence back. but make no mistake about it: while some in china are pushing for reforms, the continue to murder their own citizens for worshipping God and criticizing the govt. having said that, china is still too politically intellegent to start a full-scare war with the U.S.

no my friends, the third great war, if it does come, will be against an invisible enemy we can only vaguely define. and that is the great danger.

allright, i did some research, and from what i can tell some of this nostradamus stuff is a hoax.

the following quatrain is a total fabrication, or at least a SEVERLY WARPED original quatrain:

"In the city of york/God there will be a great collapse/thunder
twin brothers torn apart by chaos
while the fortress falls the great leader will succumb
third big war will begin when the big city is burning"

however, these are two quatrains that nostradamus did indeed write:

"The year 1999, seventh month,
From the sky will come a great King of terror:
To bring back to life the great King of Angolmois,
Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.

At forty-five degrees the sky will burn,
Fire to approach the great new city:
In an instant a great scattered flame will leap up,
When one will want to demand proof of the Normans."

The Sollog stuff i have no idea about, but I'll keep checking.

Thanks for that reference thing! I thought he was always wrong because in Hysteria (cartoon history show) they have a Nostradomous and he always prdicted way wrong (LOL yeah i do watch corney cartoons)

YOUR RIGHT. BUT MAYBE NOSTRADAMUS PREDICTED THAT THEY WOULD FOLLOW HIS PROPHECIES AND THATS WHY HE DID IT. if that is true, **** HIM. oh and i dont find this freaky at all. i noticed this instantly. oh yea and a war yes a world war no.

Yeah, I heard about all that stuff right after Sept. 11 and it really freaked me out. I told one of my friends about it, and he asked his dad, would apparently had studied a lot of Nostradomus' predictions about it, and he said it all a bunch of junk, and that like 90% of his predictions never even came true. But you never know.

Nostradamus is for real, a lot of his prophecies were really eerily true. This one's a hoax though, through and through.

But there was one story I read in this book on him that had this story about these robbers that tried to rob his grave, because they heard that there was gold and jewels in his grave. When they opened the tomb, they found a note that Nostradamus had written WITH THAT DAY'S DATE AND THEIR NAMES! The robbers got so scared that they ran off without taking anything (there wasn't really anything to take anyways).

THAT'S just plain freaky.
