I think the starting bid of a mere $50000 is a bit over the edge, myself. Domain names are nice, and while you may (or may not) get a lot of hits from such a good name, those hits don't amount to squat if you're not selling something or a business of some variety. I think it doesn't matter what the domain name is, if you have a good site people will find it, and I wouldn't spend my money (assuming I even had that much) to buy one particular name unless I was a business.

I agree that I wouldent pay that much for a name unless I was a business. Thats way to much just for a fan site. Mayby someone like sixflags will buy it.
