I asked my dad to call them and ask if they give tours, and the president said he would show us around. I can't wait. Can anybody think of any good questions to ask??:D :D :D

Didn't John Allen or John Miller work for PTC? Ask them where he got his ideas.

Yep, Legend's getting 2(?) PTC trains, I might be wrong, it could be 3, but they're definitely getting PTCs.

Ask 'em who else wants the goodies. It's not just The Legend, is it?

CCI does not give tours. The only reason PTC does is because all of their manufacturing of trains, parts and such are done in-house. Meanwhile, CCI's products are constructed out of wood at the parks. There is nothing at the CCI facility other than offices where the designs are drawn out and put on computers (Strictly confidential - They would never show you these) and a few other rooms, a few of which are where trains are put together.

Decades ago, they also made some gorgeous carousels--the one at PKI is a PTC from the 1920's, I believe. I always wondered if they considered building those any more.

I think ACE once organised a tour through the PTC facilities some time ago. They still build carousels I think, I wonder if all the animals are custom wood carved for each.
