| | | Jordan's Block! Whoa i just stopped watching the Bulls Wizards game, and at the end of the game, MJ got his shot blocked, and the bulls went on a fast break. It lookes like ron mercer had an open lay up and right out of no where comes MJ and when mercer shot the ball he grabbed it with both hands. it was the funniest thing i have ever seen in my life you all have to watch sports center to see it.

i have never flamed another person but................
what in the heck are u thinking???????? michael jordan is the greatest basketball player ever period. 4th all time leading scorer (hes played at least 3 less season than any of the 3 people above him) highest scoring average ever. 6 yes thats 6 championships in consecutive years he was in the league (the years he was out for baseball dont count) and he was the whole freaking team almost. on the topic of money, he donated his entire 1 million dollar salary to the september 11th fund and only wanted 1 million dollar vetaran minimum salary.
on the topic of cockiness, he is the greatest player ever and has a right to be cocky. if you were ever that good at anything youd be cocky too. its not like hes coming out of college and is being cokcy.
you probably have never watched michael jordan play and have no friggin idea what your talking about. your the fool. calling michael jordan a fool should be a crime in this country. you made a stupid, stupid comment you ignorant fool, check your facts before you post something as stupid as that. why is your name rocketman23? 23 is jordans number you know.
fool
to all mods and everyone in the forum besides rocketman: before this i have never flamed another person. i dont mean to lash out like this but that was just a stupid and ignorant comment.

amen to that. what other player could turn the 19-63 wizards into a playoff-caliber team? no player could. and jordan has carried them since 2 of there starters have been out. (richard hamilton was averaging 21 points a game)

I think he could of done better in his younger years. I think hes getting old and worn out. If Jordan would of been on the Wizards when he first started getting good, then the Wizards would be unstopable. But now Jordan is losing it and for a few games he misses more than 3/4 his shots. But then again, after seeing that block he still has some energy in him.

yea i agree but the most amazing thing about this is that hes 38.(almost 39)
he does some things now that he did in his earlier years (51,45 back to back) so i guess he's getting his legs back:)
hes still the greatest player in the NBA at 38, and he's a guard!, that alone is enough evidence for greatest player ever.

He's playing foward...and yeah he's not the Jordan of the old, but he's still playing good enough to make the all star team and be better than at most of the league. I still think he's playing games and holding out on everyone....He can still score 50 every game if he wanted to, but he's holding out to save his legs for the playoffs. I think he's going to play just good enough for them to make the playoffs, and then really step up his game. He only scores 50 points and makes AMAZING blocks like last night when he thinks people are doubting him. He is truly the master of mind games |

| | | I have seen him play and I know he is good. I have watched him since '90 or '91. I'm not saying he is a bad player, I'm saying I don't like him regardless. And yes, THIS return was not for any money. I think he just can't decide. Either stay in the game or don't! BUT how about those 5 or 6 companies he does commercials for, did he really need that money(and you know he got a lot for those ads)??? I don't see any other NBA great selling Ballpark hot dogs! As for my name being 23, well, it has nothing to do with his number... it happens to be my lucky number.
O yeah, he also screwed over my favorite player in the play-offs... Charles Barkley.:D
