| | | It would probably have some inversions and be 4 across and xtremely smooth. The track itself would probably look different too.

| | | If they did build woodies with inversions, I don't think they would try anything to extreme. They would probably only have one or two vertical loops.

| | | The real question is:
Why would you WANT them to?
They are already pretty good with steel coasters. For wood you have GCI, Intamin, and CCI. We don't need B&M coming in with their horrid wood coaster trains. Intamin knows how to make wooden coasters...I wouldn't be too sure about B&M. |

I dont thn B&M would make a wooden coaster unless they knew what they were doing. This topic is just saying, if B&M did know what they were doing and made a coaster. The question isnt Y?
its Y not?

| | | I think they should stick to steel, because thats what they are good at. I don't think they would be all smooth, because woodies are naturally rough, even if B&M built it. |

exactly, that would be like CCI or GCI making steel coasters. you wouldnt want them too. B&M is one of the best coaster companies in the world, why would anyone want them jeopardizing that by building wooden coasters? from what ive heard psyclone is NOT a fun coaster and the B&M trains suck.

| | | Although it would be interesting to see 4-wide woodie trains;) , I really would not want them to make woodies. That's not what they're good at, and I don't think it would go over well. Let's leave the woodies to CCI.

| | | I really don't want them to. They'd kinda start to become the Microsoft of coasters. I wasn't really pleased with Intamin going into woodies because they already are a good steel coaster maker and should stick with that. I don't want any one coaster company to become too powerful. |

| | | Keep in mind that Walter Bolliger is a metalurgist, which means he has studied metal in school. His specialty would be things made with metal. For them to do a wood coaster, they would need to hire someone who knows how wood coasters work. CCI on the other hand doesn't do steel because they specialise in wood. Its just a matter of what you know and what you don't know. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
