| | | Olympic Torch Anybody seen the olympic torch yet. Its passing my house in about an hour. All I have to do is walk a few block and it will be running past. Has it gone by anybodies house yet? If so, was anybody famous running it? I recall watching sportscenter and one of their new reports, Stuwert Scott (I don't know if this is the correct spelling of his name), was running the torch. |

| | | a few days ago it passed through Lima. I had to go to swim pratice (I hate swimming) so I missed it. But I did get to see several unlit torches and olympic cars (cars that follow the tourch) out side of the mayors office on my way home. |

| | | It passed through Columbus last week, within 4 miles of my house. I didn't go to see it, I'm usually just going to bed that time of morning. I believe Archie Griffin ran with it here in town.

| | | The news says the Torch is going to be around my area later today 1/6. But I dont see it as that big of a deal, maybe if I got to carry it, that would be fun, but just watching it isnt worth it.

you mean they fire it into a giant bowl and the bowl goes on fire? In the 1992 games no one was behind the bowl, the arrow misssed (they knew it would) and the bowl was lit separatly as the arrow passed over it, so it looked like it hit the bowl. It's impossible to do for real. |

| | | It ran though most of Ohio. One night in Cleveland, the next day in Akron. Unfortunately, I could not get around to see it both days. A few years back, it passed through Toledo. In fact, passed right by one of my former employers, Meijer.
