CoasterForce

Has anyone noticed how terribly biased CoasterForce is towards B&M and, well, themselves? Any company they mention ( Arrow in particluar ) is so much worse than B&M. They also seem to think that B&M can't screw up. Also, it seems thst they have all the right information. When ThrillRide said that TR:TR looks as if it MIGHT be a coaster, CoasterForce said that ThrillRide said it would be a coaster.

I don't like how coasterforce constantly uses speculation as facts. I keep seeing them refer to the SFNE floorless as Batman, the SFOG as Superman, and so on. Yes, we are almost sure of these facts, but not entirely sure yet.

They have their section of ground breaking coasters....every single one is a B&M (almost)! They even include Nemesis. I'm sure that nemesis is a great coaster, but I wouldn't call it groundbreaking. And they dont even acknowledge VFDs as flying coasters. They call them 'lay-down' coasters and say that B&M's AIR is the first flying coaster. Stealth, X_FLight, and Batwing may not be prone but they are still flying coasters.

Actually Nemesis is groundbreaking for them. CoasterForce is a British-run site, so Nemesis, being the only B&M invert in England, is very important. I like their site (especially their news), but they do tend to be biased sometimes.

Nemesis is ground breaking in the fact that it's almost all below ground level. Sorry, I just had to say that. Man i'm a loser.

I'll actually give Nemesis credit as being groundbreaking for being a coaster with a no more than decent layout, but delivers a supposedly great ride (I've personally never been on it, but I've seen videos, seen the layout, and talked with many people who have been on it). This is all due to some amazing theming and the way it's dug into the ground (due to height restrictions), but yes, that site is very biased, and I don't care for that, but it's their site, and their credibility, they can do what they want with that.

I would like to mention though that it is an excellent site with a lot of good information on it, I don't want to make it sound bad, I really enjoy going there.

coasterforce also gets alot wrong on their coaster quiz,it says a camel back is an inversion and that an immelman and a dive loop are the same thing

Although some of the things they say are biased, and they don't always get their facts right, that site does have a lot of content. I mean there are a lot of facts, and a lot about how a roller coaster works. I found it very useful when doing my papers on roller coasters, because they do have a lot of the specifics.

I have to admit they have A TON of content of almost every park you would want to know about. And I guess I shouldn't criticize Nemesis because I've never been on it.

Thats because Coasterforce is crap and only respect there own opinions and not the ones of the people who visit the website. I think a bunch of knuckle heads but that together so I would stick to RCDB and twisted rails and this site for that info

the site can be biased sometimes but its still an amazing site with all the features it has and all the information on almost everything you can think of. i like the site alot. the news can be misleading but its not really news its just rumors which are fun to speculate on. as long as you use coasterforce for just rumors and everything else besides news, its a good site.

I think that sight is great for information and news, but yes they can be a little biased sometimes. Also, i too consider Nemesis as a ground breaker for Europe. It's the only b&m inverted ride there.

B&M calls the raised 0-G rolls like on Kumba and Medusa "camelbacks." A camelback can either be a B&M 0-G roll at the top of a hill or a straight airtime hill on a hyper.

This thread is starting to cross the line. We aren't going to bash other sites on ThrillNetwork because it makes us look bad, as well as making the individuals who do so look bad. Please don't do this again.
