Problimatic People

I've got a friend who thinks that Paramount Canada's Wonderland (which she hasn't been too) is better than Islands Of Adventure (which she has been too). She also says that the only good ride at IOA is Dueling Dragons, the Hulk sucks, or so she says. The only reason she thinks that PCW is better than IOA is cause its got more coasters....I now think less of her.

Well, everyone is entitled to their own opinions I suppose. Of course, if one of my good friends were badmouthing coasters that I adore and so forth, I'm sure I'd be spending less time in their company -- mainly because I'd be at the park and they wouldn't want to come along! :D

Everyone has their own opinion. I respect that. I may not agree with it but I respect that everyone has the write to their own opinion. I say Disaster Transport is the best coaster ever invented and thats all in my opinion. Everyone has there own prefences so I would just take it as a person who is rather choosy in what coaster to label good or bad.

Much like the people who argue over SFMW vs. PGA. I personally side with SFMW, siding with the quality over quantity theory. However, some people say PGA is better because there is more to do. So, I guess we all have to deal with it.

These people, I feel, don't know how to enjoy a park. A small quality park is always better. In these parks you have no trouble getting everything done in one day and you can take it at a relaxed pace.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I don't see how the quality over quantity principles can be ignored like that. I have never been to either park myself, but I would be rather dissapointed if a friend of mine said they prefered one place to another just because the one place had more of something. While quantity is a plus, quality always comes first. I wouldn't drastically change my views on anyone because of this, but I would be rather dissapointed, just my own opinion.

I would ask her if she actually Rode Hulk. It's fine if she doesn't like it though. You shouldn't think less of her just becasue she has an opinion, you might not agree with it but she still is entittled to it.

Well, Ithink everyone's entitled to their own opinion. However, if she says, "Hulk sucks", I think she is just tryingto get a rise out of you. Kill her.

I think IOA has some great attractions and is a well-thought out park. The first park, in my opinion, that meets or exceeds Disney parks. However, as a rider, if I had the choice of IOA or CP, MM, etc, I would choose CP and MM. Why?

I think you get more for your money at the other parks right now. IOA has a half dozen attractions I really think are great. Hulk, Dragons, Spidey, JP, and the water rides. The other parks have so much more to offer.

That said, I am sure we are in for more great things from IOA.

People shouldn't say "this park sucks" just because they don't like it. They should just say something like "I don't like that park". Just keep it to a personal opinion and leave the bashing out of it.

Personally, I say don't judge unless you've been (unfortunately, I don't practice what I preach when it comes to this).
