| | | The Ultimate in Junk Food There's one reason why I'm more anxious for the Central Florida Fair this year, and it's not a new ride. This "makes funnel cakes look like health food". Here's how it goes:
"Customers have only two options- Snickers or Milky Way bars- because they're the only candy bars that don't fall apart. A bar is placed on a stick and dipped and rolled in sweet batter. The bar is lightly twisted to let the batter ooze off to leave just a thin glaze. For the finale, the bar is dusted with powdered suger. The softened bar firms up again, and the deep-fried candy bar is served on a napkin."
The snack is said to taste like "warm fudge". I can't wait to taste one, tell you how it was! Anyone else had these at their fair and tried one???

| | | Some of the chip shops here have sold deep-fried Mars bars before. I had one years ago and hated it. Hot batter and sugar - no thanks!

| | | I really can't express how disgusting I think that sounds... I like the ice cream Snickers bars and all, but to deep-fry a candy bar? Ew... I'm sorry, I'll only go just so far toward clogging my arteries...

Calories: 2,500
Sugar: 4000g
Nutrients: What Nutrients?
Now that just sounds sick. Think of a Milky way wrapped in an elephant ear. YUCK!

| | | Maybe they could just serve up a battered ball of lard on a stick. And, you always see fat people eating this kind of crap - as if they have NO idea of the implications of eating fatty, unhealthy food. |

| | | I thought the deep fried candy bars were good, but the worst junk food is chocolate earthquake that my brother david makes.
Vanilla ice cream with that chocolate stuff that hardens topped with brownies then peanuts and hersheys kisse, than miore chocolate stuff. Then oreos and sprinkles with more chocolate stuff on top. Topped with reeses and M&M crumbs, with more chocolate, and then hersheys syrup. Its actually pretty good. with a cherry on top.

| | | That sounds delicious. If a heart attack is the price for eating junk, I'll take it(starts to eat bacon and eggs combined and deep fried.) |

im shure they would do it on the same basic principals as u would with fried ice cream....use really hot oil so you only have to fry it for say 20-30 seconds.......but truly guys the concept of a deep fried chocolate bar is gross. how much fat would be in!!! i would be sick if i ate somthing like that. anything fried usually makes me feel ill....bring on the salad, fruit and pasta!!!!!
as said before you may as well eat deep fried lard on a stick dipped in more unhealty unsaturated fats....ew |

| | | Alright I just got back from the fair and it was GREAT. I had a fried Milky Way and fried Oreos. The Oreos weren't that great, but the Milky Way was out-of-this-world awesome. It was warm, sweet, gooey, & choclately. It tasted like the most warm and perfect tasting piece of fudge you have ever had. You see these at your fair, TRY THEM!
