One of my favorite hobbies is performing magic (many call it "Illusion" now, because "Magic" sounds evil. Same thing, I say.) Anyone else enjoy the art?

I'm more into card tricks and coin tricks (close-up stuff) than the big stuff. I'm definitely an amateur, not a pro. (you won't see my next big special on CBS "The RickyD Magic Show" or anything like that ... I'll leave that for David Copperfield.)

Just curious how many Coaster Fans there are that also enjoy this? Or am I the only one? What's your favorite sort of magic?

Magic. I love magic. Unfortunately, I know how most of it works. The only things that I don't understand are simple illusions like levitaing something, card tricks, and things like that. But even though I know how it works, I enjoy watching magic whenever I can.

I have always like magic and see how magicians defy death. I understand a lot of tricks because before i was into coasters, i was into magic, not as much and as obssesive, but I picked up a few things on the way. But the new stuff I know nothing about and I enjoy trying to figure out how it was done.

(Although, my topic was originally about PERFORMING magic, and the "duplicate" was more about WATCHING magic. But it's turned into about the same thing anyway ...)
