...associate members here with their coaster counterparts?

For example: Chiller1472 always used to be a suspended post. It seemed weird to look at his posts and see that he was a inverted post. I had always gotten used to seeing that light bluw suspended track near his name.

Same thing with chilled. s/he was always a heartline poster to me. I still can't get used to seeing the name 'chilled' next to the bright green hypercoaster track.

Does anyone else do this? Or I am just crazy?

yeah that bugs me too. weird seeing different avatars on the "wrong" names.

But I like the inverted avatar lol, I think I'll start posting less so it doesn't change :( I always associate Honan, Kraken, Natelox, and Medusa1861 with the Ultra avatar since they're the only ones with it...it'll be very weird when one of those changes to the next one.

Yeah I do it with almost everyone on theese boards.

I agree with you guys. I associate everyone w/ their avatar, so when they change it messes me up lol.

I suppose we mods are lucky in that regard. :D Of course, I do occasionally check (via the member lists) to see what avatar I would be, and I still associate some members with certain avatars.

yea i always get used to peoples tracks then like the next day wen i go on itll be a big shock to me

Yeah, I experienced this too, although it wasn't that big of a deal. It is weird finding a member you've associated with a certain track design then to see that they're something else later!

I feel the same way. I always get confused when my avatar changes. I'm still getting used to being a hyper poster. I get used to avatars on the forums and associate them with different people, so when someone's changes, I get a little confused or forget that it's them making a comment or post.

Sometimes this happens to me. I got so used to seeing Natelox with the gold Premier Park avatar, I got a little confused when I saw the ultra poster avatar under his name.

This happens to me a lot as well. I'm used to seeing certain members with certain avatars. When it changes, I sometimes forget who it is that is posting.

You know what would be nice? CUSTOM AVATARS! why can't we have our own avatars? This stupid sytem of avatars based on the number of posts is one of the reasons for a lot of the spam on these boards: people post to get their post count up so they can have a better avatar.

I, for one, would like to see custom avatars on these boards.

Dekalb will always be an inverted poster IMO. Raptor will always be a mega poster, too.

I hate my avatar. I would rather be a mine train poster.

I like the idea of a static avatar as well. On the RCT Station Forums I picked an old lady. I think you'll still have spam posters regardless, tho.

I do that alot too, and when it changes it ALways confuses me. Even when mine changes i get confused.lol!

Mine just changed from Mine Train to Wooden not too long ago, and that still messes me up sometimes (especially when I'm reading through an older thread and realize -- hey, that was something I posted! Didn't recognize the pic.)

I associate kraxleRIDAH with the green hyper track, for one example.

(I usually don't notice until it changes -- "Hey, they weren't that a few days ago!")

I always associated sfgadvkind and cedarfairmaster as inverted before and then when they changed it became so weird too me also when medusa1861 and kraken became ultra postes from mega. It was so weird.

I like how the avatars change as you get more posts. That way you can see people like Kraken as superior to you. I donno, that's just how I feel.

It did confuse me when I first changed to a Wooden Poster, but once i figured it out, i didn't have anyproblems finding myself. as for others, i haven't been on the site long enought, or i don't pay enough attention, to associate certian ppl w/ their avatars.
