Does anyone here watch this show (it's on TLC here)? I dont know why..i cant help but watch this show..its addicting. i was at my cousins house and she made me watch it and ive been hooked ever since. Now i have all of my friends hooked on it too ehehehe. Whats your favourite designer? I like Verne and Lorri..and hildy is probably the worst..her ideas are just a tad too crazy. (the one with the black paint and wood all over the walls.... disgusting)

I've caught a few episodes...so I don't know the designers that well. It's a great show, but sometimes you just feel so bad for those poor people! The rooms can come out downright hideous. Like that one where they glued straw/hay on the walls...uhm, what were they thinking? The women looked like she was about to either cry or punch the designer in the face.

It's a great show though. I doubt I'd ever let my neighbors come into my house and redecorate a room based on some of the outcomes in the show. One of my favorites was the episode where they redid the rooms in the sorority house. I think those actually came out halfway decent.

I see it a lot, and it's getting pretty popular. I met the producers of the show in San Frincisco a few months ago.

I'm addicted too!!! My sister got me hooked, and I can't stop watching it. I like all the designers, cept Hilde--avoid her at all costs. Seriously, the hay on the walls? With a pink ceiling??? Um, wow.

Anyways, Verne usually has the coolest ideas, but I think I like Doug, just because he usually makes fun of Paige Davis. And I [b]can't stand[/b] Paige Davis. I wish they'd bring back the host from season one, whats-her-face. And I like Amy Wyn waaaaay more than Ty. Ty reminds me of every jerk I've ever known.

I watch this show quite a bit. It's a pretty good show. The best episode is when the lady goes off screen and starts crying lol. I felt kind of bad for her though. My designers are the oriental guy and the redhead. (sry I don't know their names)

I watch this show.

My least favorite designer is Hildie, she has the worst ideas. Genevive (sp?) also has come pretty bad designs, although I like her as a person. She seems cool. Verne is probably the best.

Ty and Amy Winn are cool too, I like Amy Winn, she is is a fun person.

I hate Paige Davis though, I liked Alex McLoed, the host for the first season. Bring her back!

My favorite episode was one where the couple opens their eyes, and absolutely hate their room and are pissed about it. With completely serious looks on their faces, they are like "Wow, this is horrible. I can't believe they did this. We hate it."

Good show.

I think you mean Verne and Lorri. I also kind of like frank, becuase he does really cool art things(when he painted the daughter on the wall). I like Alex and Paige both as hosts...Paige can be a little too peppy sometimes though. And i like Ty better than Amy just becuase he's a bit funnier. I havent seen the one whjere the owners cried and hated the house..what did Hildy do?

I'm not sure about the one where they both hated it, but wasn't the ep where the woman went off and cried the one where Doug covered the fireplace after the homeowner [b]begged[/b] the show not to? Hehehe, I love that. I mean, if you [b]really[/b] don't want them messing with a part of your room, then [i]don't do that room!!!![/i]. Cause most likely, they're gonna mess with it.

I like the show. Franks a cool designer. The coolest was when they made the room a movie theatre. I also think Paige is a good host b/c she is hot.

[/B][/QUOTE] Yes that's the one I was talking about. I've seen worse rooms too. Did you guys ever see the one where the guy kept saying it looked like beatlejuices house? That was pretty funny. The guy's room was a mess. Another one I didn't really like was the one where they painted the room black, then put wood pannels on the wall every 2 inches apart. I thought that looked pretty stupid, but the people liked it.

Yeah that was an awful room...and if they wanted to take the wood down they would have nail holes all over their wall....

classic episode was when one of the owners of the made over room burst into tears on screen and had to leave. couldnt blame her though, the room was brown and awful, just like something else:p . anyone else catch that one?

I like this show. When I'm downstairs and it's on and there's nothing else I'll watch it. my mom is addicted to that show. Well, that and Judge Judy (can't satnd the wench)[Judge Judy not my mom]. Some of the rooms are just truly ugly and it's rare when one of the rooms comes out nice. I love how people have those faces of "I hate it" but say they like it. I wonder how many people leave the rooms the same.

I think that there are a lot that come out nice. I like the show as well. My sister and her friends also got me hooked. I like Amy as the carpender because she is cool, but Ty is funny because he is sarcastic and always gets pissed when everyone is making him do a lot of things, and then they become impatient. Then he always makes fun of Page hehe. She is a little too peppy. I like the one where they have that red pattern on the wall. That looked so cool.

I like Paige too! To bad she's married! Alex is SOO boring! I hate episodes with her!
* Vern, cause its more modern/contemporary/asian.
*Doug, especially that room with the sexy pic of the girl( He was forced to use it by someone). And that movie theater(GET BIGGER TV!)
*Hilde/hilda- like some of her rooms, with the one with the bird cage, but hated most, i cant believe she was gonna color NEW carpet, but hey, she could have done what ever she wanted!
* I don't like gen too, why the heck would she put moss on the wall! ANd that polka dotted room, I heard that the lady hated it!
*Season one's Des- I hated that purple room, beetle guise room
*Laurie- modern/contemporary. I liked it when she told them to finish the 3D puzzles in one day!
*Frank, girly rooms IMO!
