How weird. He's holding on to the bar and not throwing his hands in the air like you are. I really wish I can meet him sometime. He really should spend more time on these boards. :)

Ahhh, now I recognize you!!!! To bad I missed talking to you at SRM. Bryan Wood (the mod) and I were both there to.

Yeah, Bob was not what I was expecting him to look like. Red hair kind of caught me off gaurd. I didn't stop to say hi though- my crew was off and running when we saw him, so I didn't have a chance (not sure what I would have said anyways)

I had a great talk with Mick Foley at one point, and was on a couple of Raven rides with him (not in the same seat). Also had a great conversation with Eric Griswold (one of the guys who started WoC and of the infamous -3 to +5 scoring system) and spent about 1/2 of Saturday with Paula's son (the one who auctioned the block). Also had some great time with Mrs. Koch and of course the "woohoo" twins.

Trip report coming soon. Sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi to you though.

Creepy, huh?

Yup, a red-head... that is, what's left of it, anyway. ;)

The Legend is one of those rides I don't keep my hands up on at all times. The laterals on some of the turns (all of them, actually) were brutal, in the most bee-yoo-tiful way. And I don't like slamming my elbows into my riding companion, if I can avoid it. Had I remembered that was where the cameras were, I might have made more of an effort to properly "pose." 'Specially if I'd known it was going public. :)

BTW, let me just add my own kudos to everyone at Holiday World. SRM is about the best enthusiast event I've ever attended. And what a pair of coasters... no other park in the world has two woodies like The Raven and The Legend.

Also, it was great to finally meet so many of you all, especially Thrillnetwork's own Bryan Wood and his crew. A BIG THANKS to everyone who picked up a book and stopped by to say "Hi!"

(Do I really look "creepy?" Mebbe that's why I'm still single... ;)

I really wanted to go and meet him but I was unable to attend. No offense, but I'm kinda surprised none of you knew what he looked like prior to this picture being posted. He's been on one of the travel/discovery channel specials and he used to have his pic on the ThrillRide! website. Oh well.

I think it might be the g-forces that made that effect... makes it look like your sucking your cheeks in.

My thoughts exactly. Apparently we didn't catch Thrills, Chills and Spills last year when he was on. Unless it wasn't TC&S. I'unno. Either way I know I saw him and my brother and I sorta freaked out when we saw it. I also thought I saw him at IOA while I was in line for Dueling Dragons, but it wasn't him. Wow, Bob. There's some sort of cult following now that you stopped doing Thrillride!. I'd watch it. :D

Ahh... I had a great time at SRM. It was very cool to hang out with Robert for most of Friday. People told me he's a good guy, and they weren't wrong. Also got to meet Sir Willow, also a good guy. Gotta love gettin' stuck on the Legend!! SRM is something else. I'll be back next year for sure!

TR coming soon on Thrillnetwork...I have graduation and about 35 graduation open houses to go to the next 4 days. :) I'm als gonna squeeze a trip to Kennywood in there as well to mourn the loss of The Whip.:(

Hey Rob!

Sorry I didnt ask you about posting the photo before I did so. Good to see you posting in here. I'm sure lots of people in here will want to come to our online chat next week. Also, those of you that are in the LA area, come out and ride some great coasters with Robert and I the first week of July!

Sir Willow, sorry we didnt get to meet face to face. Next time at one of those events we need to write our usernames on our badges like Arrow Guy did :)

Bethany, the woohoo girl also freaked me out as well :) but HW and SRM is all about fun so it was expected...just not THAT much fun... for 2 days STRAIGHT!!!!
