| | | Can't say I'm a fan of theirs either. To me they're just another indie hard rock band trying to follow the success that the Strokes had. I do with they'd give up the whole suits on stage thing too, I have no clue why bands do this, do they think it makes them look cool or something? Playing hard rock, unless you have a few lounge songs, you shouldn't be wearing a suit on stage. |

The hives are just one of the many british wanna be beatles bands now adays that are trying to make it in America. There music has no substance.... and just isn't that musically good. But since others brought up "good" music, why is Nirvana up there with the likes of Pink Floyd? Many of their songs were three cords and mostly bass tabs...if Kurt Cobain hadn't done himself in, no one would be talking about them nowadays.

Nobody cares about your music, or what you think is the best band or genre. Everyone should just listen to what they like, no one should be telling another person to listent to ska, or some lame European band or whatever.
How would you like it if I started a thread saying "Hey, you all need to listen to rock music, it's simply the best, and the best band is _________." Everyone has different opinions and blah blah blah, so this thread is dumb. Do you actually expect anyone to go listen to them now, or go listen to ska birdie? |

Hey you guys! I like this band called cannibal corpse. They are hardcore death metal and I think everyone will love it!
Obviously I have different tastes than others, so I dont preach bands....especially average SWEDISH bands that wont last another year or two.
