Nah, if you look at Judge Roy Scream from the water, the lift hill is going the other way. See here: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery29.htm?Picture=2. You know, these guys are from Canada, could it be Monstre at La Ronde? Look here to see what I see: http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery186.htm?Picture=5.

I'm pretty sure Rebel is right. It's wooden and near water, just like Monstre, and the first drop isn't steep or tall, because it leads into a big turn. In the picture, you can also see another drop, and it is in the correct position for Monstre. It is the drop with the sky lift support in front of it(the album photo is taken from the other side of the ride as this http://www.rcdb.com/installationgallery186.htm?Picture=1).Everythting is positioned correctly. Plus, there's the whole Canada thing.

For sure it is Monster at La Ronde. I don't know when the cover picture was taken, but I know that they were performing in the "Jardin des Etoiles" at La Ronde this summer... maybe they took that pictures after the show!

I think this has been brought up before and we decided on Monstre. I could be kidding myself though.

It's not that stinks. The drop on Big Dipper faces the opposite way if you are on the pier by SCBB. Or they could've used a mirror image, but you did have a very close idea.

I've seen it and I have no idea what that is. I immediately thought coaster though when I saw the cover. I wasn't impressed with the cd though. It doesn't have the same edge as the other cds. Sounds more poppy.

And yeah, this is an old thread...one I started a while ago. RoCk_StEaDy, this album came out way in the spring of 2002 (with the same cover art), so there's no way that the picture is from a concert they played in La Ronde during this past summer.

Mike C: That's what I thought.

Kraken: I'm gonna post wherever I want. It's not because you ain't on the 1st page that you can't participate in a conversation.

I'm going to La Ronde this week end, and I will look across the lake and see if it could be monster, even though it probably is.

The thing is that it confuses people and makes it seem that conversations that were over are still ongoing...so you wind up with stinks saying it's Giant Dipper when we've already arrived at a conclusion.

Kraken: ok listen, this is a public forum. I just said my thoughts, and this is what you direct to me quote: "Ok Rock Steady, just to advise you, if it's not on page 1, don't ever, ever post in it." I'm not the only one who was ongoing to this topic so you shouldn't direct it to me. Plus, you're not any better...
