Steal This Album!

Alright! For any rock lovers out there, you've proabobly heard of System of A down. You proabobly bought their Toxicity album. Yeah, it was good, But Steal this Album is 100% better (System of a downs new CD!) Ive Included the song list with a description and rating next to each. PM me or IM if I forgot a song.

Innervision-
Youve proabobly heard this on the radio, its a very good song. IT has a nice array of different variations and starts out loud and clear. It's a top song on the album.
Rank: 4 out of 5 stars

****** the System-
A hard gothic song that is pretty straight forward, I don't like it that much as the others. But if you're in the mood to completley rock out, jump around etc. listen to this song.
Rank:3 out of 5 stars

Bubbles-
A Typical rock song, good flow, and good overall song, not my favorite though.
Rank:4 out of 5 Stars

Boom!-
It has the same title of POD's, but its way better. Its kinda linear, and doesn't really have a good flow to it, but its good to listen to, not my favorite though.
Rank: 3 out of 5 Stars

A.D.D-A really hard rock song, but it is very good. It may seem sad, but it busts into a hard rock chorus and completley makes you want to rock out. One of my Favs
Score:5 out of 5 Stars

Mr. Jack- This song is kick a$$. It starts out slow then bursts into a hard rok sequence, then tells a tale about "Mr.Jack" who is on the side of the freeway, its good, but it isnt one of my favorites.
Rank: 3 out of 5

IEAIAO- Funny name, Great song. Its a blend of old school meets hard rock. It's pretty fast paced, but it is EXCELLENT! It is a top notch song on thsi album and makes other rock songs look like garbage.
Rank: 5 out of 5 stars

Highway Song- My favorite of the album. It is a perfect blend. It is completley hard rock, but just the overall flow, lyrics and just the song makes it really good, defenetley the best on the album.

Ego Brain-A good song, makes ya think of all your hot headed freinds, a very good song, but not one of my favorites.
Rank: 4 out of 5 stars

Thetawaves: Old school, its hard to explain what this song is about (Like ruling the people or something) but its good thats all i can say! One of my favs!
Rank: 4 out of 5 stars

Roulette: A sad song, slow, and makes you dream of stuff ud rather be doing than school etc. Not my favorite, but is good!
Rank: 4 out of 5 stars

Streamline: The song off the Scorpion King, you've proabobly heard it. Its a good song.
Score: 4 out of 5 stars

This album is top notch and is defenetley going to be my favorite for a while. It is much different than Toxicity. Pick this album up! It is my favorite now, but Im not giving it a perfect 5 out of 5 because, not every song is awesome (but most are!)
Album Rank 4.5 out of 5 stars!

I bought STA the day it came out. Rode my bike to B&N in the freezing rain to get it. It has to be my favorite CD I own and have ever owned. I have all of the SOAD albums now, but i tihnk this is the best. My favorite songs are:

A.D.D
Mr. JAck
Roulette
Ego Brain
Bubbles

The only song i dont really like is 36 cuase it is too short and sorta...strange. But every other song I could listen to all day.

I'm sorry, but System of a Down freaks me out. Just the way they choose to display themselves is frightening.

Just curious on how their appearance freaks you out. They have a singer, normal looking guy with curly hair, guitarist who may have big eyes, but fairly normal looking outside of that, bassist with a big goateee and shaved head, and their drummer outside of the long goatee is very normal looking. I'm not saying you're wrong to think that way at all, but I'm just curious as to what about them you find to be freaky or frightening.

Anyway, on the new album, I like it a lot, not as good as their first album, but I like it a little bit more than Toxicity. F the System is actually probably my favorite song on the album, absolutely hilarious. The rest of the songs I agree with you on (Raptordude). IEAIAO would easily be the next best song on the CD.

It's their appearance as rock stars and themselves. If their looks scare you, I would advise you to not look at some punk rock stars.

Well, although the album is ok, it does not beat their self titled album...yes folks, they had a album before toxicity that (gasp) wasnt played on the radio!

No kidding slipknot, everyone seems to not even know that their self titled exists when it's there, and it's a much better album than anything else they've done IMO. Well, not much better, but clearly better in my opinion. Songs like Spiders and Sugar got on MTV late at night a couple of times, but that's about it while songs like Mind, Suggestions, Suite Pea, War, Ddevil, and I could go on for hours, didn't get any notice from almost anybody.

Sometimes shirtless, sometimes crazy hair (or none), and pretty normal clothes, I just don't get where you're coming from. I think if anything, they appear well dressed for a rock band (I wish I had a better term, because rock is a hugely overused word, like extreme. When you hear pop-stars calling themselves rockstars, you'll know what I mean). Secondly, I love this CD. I bought Toxicity a while ago, but this CD is just plain better. A.D.D. is my favorite song on the CD right now, but they are all great IMO. It's great all the way through and it seems that each song had a lot of effort put into it. I really like their bassist, Shavo Odadjian. He can play really fast and just seems really cool to me, he sounds different tha other bassists. That's another thing, this band is different from all the others. Some songs sound weird, some have weird lyrics (Chik'N'Stu for example) and it really sets them apart. The next CD I'm buying is their first, which I have heard from a few people may be their best.
