Got a notice in the mail the other day from the Darkride and Funhouse Enthusiasts about their upcoming event at Knoebels. Not only does it sound like mad fun in an awesome park, it sounds like a great deal. Here are the details...

The Darkride and Funhouse Enthusiasts celebrate the 30th birthday of Knoebel's Haunted Mansion.

Saturday, April 26th, 2003

at Knoebel's Amusement Park, Elysburg, PA. Join DAFE in a day of fun that will include a buffet lunch, ride all day pass, birthday cake, and a walkthrough of the Haunted Mansion - the darkride that was chosen as DAFE's favorite in their first annual member survey.

[u]The Schedule of Events[/u]

11AM to Noon - Registration for the event will be at the picnic pavilions which are adjacent to the main parking area.

Noon - Lunch- One trip through the buffet which will consist of barbeque chicken, ravioli, hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, potato chips, ice cream, iced tea, coffee, soft drinks, and of course a birthday cake in honor of the 30th birthday of the Haunted Mansion.

Noon to Closing time - Ride all day

After Park Closes (Around 6PM) - Meet at the Haunted Mansion for the plaque presentation and walkthrough tour.
