Popular Science

The new issue (April 2003) has a nice 2 page thing about TTD, S:UF, and EuroFighter. It has very nice layout drawings in it. Just thought I'd pass word along.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to take a peek when I go to the library next, or else the next time I'm in a bookstore.

My friend showed me this yesterday. Very cool, heck, I didn't even know that that Eurofighter coaster existed. You know, TTD must be getting a hell of a lot of plubicity, because another friend of mine just walked up to me in class today and asked me about it. We had both gone there last year and unknowingly bumped into each other, and now we are both kinda mad because we went the year before they got the huge coaster. Oh well...

Popular Science is a good magazine, I have the latest issue sitting on the island in my kitchen, but I haven't had the time to read it yet.

I can't find EuroFighter on RCDB. Can someone please post a pic or the article or some info about it? I'd really like to hear more about it.

That's one of my favorite parks ever... who does't like a female cow with exposed nipples? (See the parks website to see what I mean)

The article wasn't much actually, since I had the chance to read it this evening -- quite short, but with good diagrams and overall descriptions of what's going on in each. Not much more, though, but definately worth a look.

The technology applied in the amusment industry is interesting indeed. TTD uses a device that builds up pressure for about 30 seconds releaseing it all in less than 4. There arn't very many devices that can put out that much energy in a short time such as that.

No kid! Most materials break under that kind of pressure, I wonder what they use.

I saw the article as well. My mother runs a daycare and one of the kids brought his copy to show me. I didn't get much of a chance to look at it though.

Eurofighter is a really cool consept! I would like to ride something like that someday. It looks NUTS! Funny... I'll be riding 2 of the rides memtioned this year (TTD & S-UF @ SFGAmer.). HAHAHAHAHA! I just think that's SO funny. It makes me grin just thinking about it. I'm already pretty nervios about TTD but when it comes to UF well lets leave that as "looking forward to Raging Bull more".
