Screw the manmade fireworks, Mother Nature is putting on a show of her own, at least in NE ohio.

A happy holiday to everyone, regardless of the reason for celebrating it (a debate about patriotism / military / war I'll save for another time). Be safe with those fireworks -- both artificial and natural -- and have a good time! We had a picnic on the beach this afternoon, and bought our $8.25 worth of sparkly gizmos this evening. Not a lot, but still fun!

I was gonna go to my best friends house because he goes to South Carolina every year to get a whole bunch of fireworks, firecrackers, bottle rockets, etc. Sucks for me though because he isnt going to set off his stuff because it is illegal in Delaware and they are patrolling the state. He will be doing the tomorrow, unfortunitly i have to work. Everyone Have Fun!

My Dad and his girlfriend and my sister were at a house down the street tonight and I went to. I brought my fireworks along to combine with thiers. Its a big neighborhood show. My dad was playing music for us and was gonna play patriotic music for the works. A cop came by because he got 3 calls of loud music. We were setting up at the time. All the cop said was turn the music down and blast it for the fireworks. He didn't care about the fireworks. Shift Change was at 10 so it didn't matter. I still here a bunch around here. It was beatiful all day. We started the show and it started pouring. We got all of our stuff picked up and coverd in time. My dad's equipment got wet and he was Pissed. But it all stopped and they restarted, I pulled out. I lit my big one off it was so cool. well, that was my night!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

I had a fun 4th. A lot of driving, a little Sticker's Grove, a little fireworks, and a lot of rain. It was still a lot better than last year.

I kinda forgot Kent's fireworks are during the Heritage Festival. So Saturday night, Kent will see fireworks and so might I.

I went to the fireworks at Marietta Square, for those who are familiar with the area. It pretty much sucked though. We were sitting about 15 ft away from some railroad tracks, and about half way through the show, a train decides to come on through!!! Come on, who is driving a train at 9:30 on the night of the fourth of July??? What is wrong with these people? The fireworks weren't all that great anyway, and that made it about 10x worse. It might have also been the lamest finale ever. It couldn't have lasted more than 2 minutes. Where I usually go just the finale lasts about 7-10 minutes. Here, the entire show was over in 15!!! Oh well, I must say I had fun anyway.

About the personal fireworks, we had a fun time setting those off on the 3rd. We had about 30 mortars and set them all off. Plus lots of bottle rockets and fire crackers and roman candles, etc. I still have lots of bottle rockets, including 6 huge ones that are like mini mortars, that I am going to set off tomorrow on the 5th.

The fireworks at my grandparent's house got cancelled yesterday, so I'm seeing them tonight. They are usually pretty good though.
