JTECH Glowster

I just went to this TGI Fridays and then a Texas Roadhouse and instead of calling out your name over the intercom, they gave out these things called JTECH Glowsters. I thought those things were sweet. Well, I get this mesage thing saying Return to your host, your table is ready or soemthing like that. Well at Texas Roadhouse there was a 45 minute wait so I went roaming off. I got to a point and it said I was out of range. and started flashing and everything. Well after about 10 minutes of being out of range I go back into range and next thing I know it is saying HELP I'm lost. I'm over here. So I ignore it, because I am a new guy to these weird things and we wait for about an hour. Well we told the hostess about this and they said they thought we left and signalled for us and we didnt come (we were outta range when contacted). So they finally get seated 15 minutes later and those things are evil! You think I can get a little station thing and then make it flash and vibrate and then get seated for a restaurant? I bet I could, but they ask for the name when you go up to get your seat I think. Is there any of these in other states besides Delaware? I'm guessing many of the TGI Fridays might have them, but am not positive.

At our local Longhorns Steakhouse (baby!), they have little things that flash and vibrate when they have a table available. I think they are pretty cool, but they don't talk or have a screen that says that it's out of range or whatever. Besides, I just wait there so I've never been out of range anyway.

They have them all over in Ohio. I kind of hate them because they get messed up if you go out of range.

They have those things at BW3 that let you know when your food is ready. Very convenient.

I like them. They are very convinient to tell you when the table is ready, or when your food is ready. Plus my little siblings like watching them light up.
