| | | Help with AIM Express I can't get this to work. Whenever I try to sign in it says, "sending pasword," and it stays like that for 10 minutes straight until I exit out. This is reminding me why I hate AOL. Any ideas on why it doesn't work.
Thanks.

| | | Is AIM Express the thing on your cell phone where you can talk to people on your buddy list? I had that on t-mobile and it was the worst phone and service ever. I got signal only in like the top of a building or out in the open. I never got signal in my house or in other peoples houses or stores. Try to get a new s/n and then try again. If you are just talking aobut regular aim, like on the computer, start to sign on and then get on internet explorer and start browsing. It should connect when there is web activity. This sometimes happenes to me on my cable modem. |

| | | AIM Express is a program that will run AIM without downloading it on your computer or having AOL. I'm already online when I start it up, so that shouldn't be a problem.

| | | You have to be signed up with AIM first, it's like AIM for the road, so in your case unless you sign up with AIM somewhere else, it won't work for you. |

| | | You should just download AIM. It's a lot simpler.

| | | Haven't we heard that before that if Phil downloads AIM, it will be gone when his dad gets on?
I always though quick buddy and express were the same thing.

| | | CP_M explained it perfectly. Quick Buddy is an older version that doesn't have as many features, but its the only one that works.
