This Is SportsCenter

i saw some commercials for this show and i really didnt think anything of it. tonight i remembered it was on and i decided to watch. for all those people who didnt see it...you missed something awesome. i'll explain what it was. on ESPN at 10:00 eastern, they had a live behind the scenes show that lead up to the 11:00 sportscenter. at the same time on ESPN2, baseball tonight was on and it was really cool seeing them do it the same time while watching ESPN. then at 11:00 sportscenter started on ESPN2 and they showed the live behind the scenes on ESPN. its CRAZY during the show behind the scenes. you never really appriciate how much work goes into the show untill you watch this. deffinatly one of the coolest things i've seen in tv. anyone else watch it. btw, its 11:32 eastern right now so im still watching it.

To answer your topic statement. No, This thread is NOT sportscenter. That remains on TV :D

Anywho. Yes, it is very unique to see behind the scenes of newscasts, sportshows, etc. I never really enjoyed the sports news broadcasts. They seemed to move way to quickly on different subjects. I was watching one earlier today, it moved very quickly. What I enjoy though, is unlike newscasts, they get down to buisness. The news however, seems to be too broad, and makes you wonder "Why wasn't this story on the news" while Sportsceneter covers a lot of stuff. Also it doesn't have too many of those annoying "News scrolling bars" such as the ones on CNN that display crap like:

"Britney Spears in court today due to sighting of herself in the newest Girls Gone Wild Video."

Need I say moe?

Do you think that this show would be available on Kazaa yet?

That was very interesting to watch. There really are alot of elements and people that go into making SportsCenter and it really is amazing how quickly they do their work. I still am not a huge fan of SportsCenter though. Baseball Tonight and NFL Countdown are good shows but SportsCenter doesn't give alot of highlights or stats except for their "leading game".

I turned it on and I was like, what is this? I only watched a little bit of it, but it was really cool. I had no idea so much work went on behind the scenes. I really enjoyed the show, if only I could see it again.

I saw it and I thought it was cool. And yet I never watch any sports shows or sports games, not even the superbowl.
