musical question

does anyone know what those keyboards that you hold like guitar are called, yes i KNOW this is a rollercoaster forum and this is totally irrevaent but it is in off topic

Wow, I don't think you would be able to find many of those anymore. They went away after the 80s.

It came from the "Let's put a strap on it so it looks more cool like a guitar" school of thought. I think they're pretty dumb looking.

Actually, John 5, the percussionist for Marilyn Manson, used a keytar for the first 3 cds and it gave some killer spooky and organ sounds...and tha twas well in the 90s.
