| | | I couldn't tell which was TT and which was imported from downloaded parks...
It will join my many PC games that collect dust.

| | | RCT2 ranks as the game with the most potential but was the biggest disappointment I've ever purchased. |

| | | I agree, RCT2 has been a huge letdown for me. I played RCT so much, it was crazy. I got RCT2 and played it for a bit, but I just put it away. Theres no motive for me to play. There isn't anything THAT new, the objectives are the same, and I allready beat RCT. I was VERY let down and I don't think I'll ever buy another RCT game.

| | | Exactly. I played the hell out of RCT 1 for 2 years,, I think I touched RCT2 two times beofre I realized that, not enough had been changed to be exciting, but too much had been changed to be familiar. If that makes any sense.

| | | EXACTLY how I feel. Add to that the freaking bug that made it crash when you were building a great coaster, and I just stopped playing.
I wonder what could have been.
Summary: no, I won't buy the add-on.

| | | You know, I hope they do release a RCT 3. I only hope this if they include a ton of new flats and a walk-through and on-ride 3D feature. I want to ride my dam coasters and walk through my dam park.

| | | I'll buy it, I'm sure, but I'll wait for a combo pack that includes the game and the expansion packs. I haven't bought RCT2 yet, and only just acquired Loopy Landscapes (in the Deluxe version of the original that has both expansion packs on the same CD) in June. I don't play it a lot, but it goes in cycles -- some times I'll play it all the time, then not touch it for a few months. I really only play one game at a time and only have 3-4 I play, so it's not that big a deal for me.

| | | I haven't bought Wacky Worlds, nor have I, or intend to by Time Twisters. Atari really screwed up with RCT2, right from the start. The custom scenery creates major loading time problems, the game is just so slow overall, many good features were left out too. And now they are creating these horrible expansion packs that have no value to them whatsoever. I have been a large fan of RCT1, but nothing will inspire me to buy anything for RCT2, ever. Atari lost one customer.

| | | I played RCT to death-playing the game and working on parks with alot of the Danimation (now mostly New Element) crew. When RCT2 came out I never bought it; I lost interest. I'm glad I didn't buy it now. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
