| | | Emulation-Super nintendo Our school is a wireless campus and everyone has laptops but one kid had something that caught my eye. He was playing Supar Mario on his laptop. I learned more about it and i learned it was an emulation. I downloaded the correct emulator but i need to find out where i can acces the games. Can anyone help me if they have any info on the subject. I appreciate all help because i dont have Super nintendo but i want to play it again. :) |

| | | That's the thing--it's sort of illegal, so you're really going to have to look for them. |

| | | Yeah, this isn't allowed, as it isn't as "legal" as music file sharing. Hopefully you got enough info to help you though.

| | | Emulaters and Roms arent ilegal, there are even disclaimers on all the sites. There only ilegal if you download games you dont own (which is what 99% of the people do). The reason there not ilegal is because there there to back up your existing game files. It says in the disclaimer on almost all emulater/rom sites.

| | | well thats a good point milhouse. If thats true then thats very good to hear. I dont own a SNES but since they dont make it anymore and couldnt possibly make any more money off of it it really wouldn't be illegal. |

Read the insturction booklets to any legit video game, espcially a Nintendo one-It'll basically tell you you're still being bad even if it's just a "backup" copy.
I myself have acces to a wonderful store called Gametrader specializing in used video games; everything from Atari VCS Barnstorming to Final Fantasy Mystic Quest-and all on an actual system. I never had a need for emulation. |

| | | What's ironic is that those old ROMs will last longer than the CDs of today. |
