Shooting caught on tape

I was flipping through some channels when I came across a guy shooting another at point blank distance.

I'm surprised the gunman didn't kill the guy.

Ya, I saw that too. That was cool when that other guy who was watching just tackeld him down to the sidewalk. That must've sucked to be the guy being shot at, damn, he was like 2 ft. away. He only got shot in the neck for those who don't want to read the article...

I don't see what is so special about catching a shooting on tape.

well skye, they say the tree somewhat saved him from getting injured worse. By him ducking about the tree, it gave the gunman bad looks at shooting him.

I can see your point I_rules, I guess its no different that seeing two huge towers collapse either, right?

That fact of the matter was these were major cameras not those palm pilot ones kids have. CourtTV was outside the courthouse and was filming for something when this occured.

i meant that the way it happened was surreal, like kids playing it (you call that tag or something?) round a tree.

Wow. Anyone know where I can see that video instead of having to pay at stupid CNN's Web site? I don't really understand exactly how this happened. So he was shot point-blank and he was standing up (as in the photo on CNN.com) in shock? And the gunman just walked away! What the heck?

What kind of gun was it? Since he lived, I am guessing it was .22 calibur.

Didn't look small enough to be a 22.

It probably was a 9mm or a 38.
