| | | If it's Windows Media player, you should go and get the latest updates for it. You might have WMP 8 or older, where the current version is 9.0. |

For Windows 98SE/2000/ME

For Windows XP
BTW... About your signature. Its stupid. Chip has PLENTY of reasoning to locking your threads and posts. Mostly because they are repeat or pointless threads. A mod isn't gonna lock posts because they don't like you or you post too much. |

| | | You proabobly need the DivX one. Go to www.divx.com to get it.
Also, if you have WMP9, you should see a pop up that says "Find the right codec" which takes you to the microsoft site, and gives you links for downloads. That should work.

| | | I doubt you'll need the DivX one... it's only if you plan on playing crap. I don't have it and I can play most videos just fine. Plus, many of the DivX players I found out have spyware in it anyway. |

| | | I had DivX on my old computer, and hated it. I just got the codecs, but so far I don't need them for my new machine.
Also, you could update windows, go to windows update under the start menu. That could fix the problem as well.
