| | | MP3 Sharing Programs I know this is a repeat topic, I'm sorry, but I guess I had some more specific questions. I am looking for a good, free, MP3 sharing program. I have tried Bearshare (Crap), Kazaa (Crap), Morpheus (Crap), Imesh (Okay), Winmx (Okay) and Napster (The best, but now closed). I was wondering if there were any other free alternatives. I have heard of K-lite but I checked out their website and they list the number of songs they have, meaning I might not be able to find what I'm looking for (quite a bit of Underground rap music).
Please, no "rap sucks' or "you should try paying for your music" comments, I just want some alternatives to what I have tried. Adware and Spyware are MAJOR turn-offs. The only program of the one's I've tried that I'm willing to go back to is Winmx or Kazaa. Kazaa has a huge selection, it's just all this adware, spyware, MP3's that don't work or that are looped crap.
thank you.

| | | Emule is pretty good. I tried it, so if you don't like Kazaa Lite (I have K Plus or whatever) It works out. Kazaa K++ Is actually really good and if you're smart, it's easy to not get caught. You can PM if you want to know how.
Also, if you are really good with programs, try mIRC.

| | | Definately try Kazaa K++ a.k.a. Kazaa Lite. It's exactly the same as Kazaa, only with out the adware/spyware. If I'm not mistaken, they also share the same server (is that the right word?) with Kazaa, so you get the same song selection.
EDIT: 2400th post

I don't use it anymore, since the whole RIAA incident, but it blocks out ads and it supposedly has an IP Blocker. But I doubt if that works. That was probably just a marketing decision to get people to move from the regual Kazaa to K Lite.

| | | Well, I'm currently trying Kazaa Lite and liking it. I will really find out if I like it or not when a new CD comes out. Kazaa (the original) had all these loops and horrible quality mp3's. BTW, RIAA doesn't (or hasn't) targeted Canadians yet, so far I think I'm okay.
Btw, I'm intrested in learning about this MRIC, i have heard about it and it sounds good. A question though, is it true you can only get new Cd's off of it, and you can't get single or older Mp3's?
