Anybody got any poems bout roller coaster or amusement parks poems, because for language we are suppose to recite a poem bout anything and i would think it would be cool to read a poem about roller coasters are parks. Thanks

There once was a lady named Fellner,
Who thought she was really cool.
The story I'm about to tell
Will show you she's a fool.

Fellner was a coaster buff,
Who joined a club called ACE.
Already known as a wild bunch
She continued their disgrace.

In business for herself
With a Harvard M.B.A.
You think she would be smart enough
To read the warnings and obey.

She unfastened her seatbelt
In hopes for a greater thrill.
Then stood up on a coaster
About to go down hill.

The coaster was The Raven
At a park called Holiday World.
The fifth drop is a doozy
And out of the car she was hurled.

Fellner fell for forty feet
And landed on her head.
I'm sure it came as no surprise
To find out she was dead.

With fiance seated next to her
In the last seat on the train
He came back to the station
Free of his ball-and-chain.

There is a lesson to be learned
That no one should forget.
Follow posted safety rules
And live without regret.

I actually have one that I had to write for lit last year.

The First Ride

My palms became sweaty,
As I stepped inot the station.
I sat down in the coaster train,
And felt a strong fear sensation.

Slowly we began to move ahead,
And we were making the first turn.
We soon connected to the lift,
Then my stomach started to really churn.

As we reached the top of the hill,
My fear of height became more severe.
I got a peak over the top,
And I might have shed a tear.

All of a sudden we accelerated,
Over that huge first drop.
About then I figured out,
I never wanted to stop!

Up and down, up and down,
I had never experienced such a glorious thing.
We went completely out of control,
With ever hill came a wonderful upswing.

Too soon the ride had come to an end.
The joy of roller coasters
Was no longer beyond my ken.
Afterwards, I only had one thing to say:
"Dad, can we please do it again?"

Yeah, I know, it kinda sucks, but whatever.
