Candles

Recently I have started burning candles in my room, for many different reasons. They smell good and the shadows they cast in a dark room are just soothing to the troubled mind. They are aesthetically pleasing to me. And they set excellent moods for massages...assuming I ever got to give those. Now you're all probably thinking "Someone needs testosterone injections.." but that is not the point of this post. Do any of you, male or female, use candles regularly? Or am I just one of those weirdos? Post thoughts.

I burn candles in the winter--makes my house feel warmer--trust me, with the gas bill--warmth is a trick of the mind.

People are different, so it's kinda good I see someone enjoying something a lot of guys don't.

Yeah, I'm a pyro so that doesn't hurt, but I love Candles they create an ambient mood. The sents can be romantic, soothing, and calming.

Love candles, but more for my spiritual mindset than anything else. Colors, shadows, candles rock. Doesn't help that I have a relationship with fire, LOL. But the one thing about candles is make sure to get beeswax candles. They burn MUCH cleaner and MUCH longer, but need a little more tending to.

Ladies love the candles....and I loves the ladies.
Therefore, I love the candles.

For the last two weeks of this month, I am living by candle light. I'm moving in with my sister (I'm moving in before her) and we don't have enough money to have the electric on at both places...so I'm just gonna hang there in the candle light with my wind up alarm clock and stacks of books.

I buy the large scented candles and really don't light them. I let the aroma of them spread through the room. Sometimes I do light candles, but not that often.

Candles give me headaches. I like the way they look. You're right about the glow they give off; it can be really cool. But the smells drive me insane.

I don't use candles. It's most definetely a female "thing", unless as a guy, you're performing some kind of aromatherapy, expecting a positive outcome of it. I don't know of any guys that light candles for the hell of it like most girls do. Sure they smell nice, but soooo many casual fires are started because of those little buggers.

with the amoutn of junk in my room (and books) I think if I were to burn candels something would catch fire and the house would burn down :)

Anyway... I'm not really into the cent of them. But I do like to watch them when they are on the table at restaurants :)

I'm not a big fan on candles, but some of the scents are pretty good.

This tread reminds me of when I worked at a candle factory in southern ohio. If you went to Crackel Barrel and saw the cake candles they had there, I made some of them. It's a intresting process to. Ya we have a lot of fruit smelling candles in the house. My mom lights them up at night and just smells wounderfull in there.

I like herbal star candles. My wife worked with the girl that started the company. It became such a big thing that she quit her job and did the candles full-time. I recommend the paper moon scent. Smells good enough to eat.
