Pictures Of Princess Diana After Crash To Be Aired

Photographs of Diana, Princess of Wales, are to be shown on US television tonight. According to Sky News 'A [CBS] programme spokeswoman said the show would include images of Diana at the scene after the crash'.

How long can the poor woman's death be dragged out? I just don't understand how having these pictures on a show will benefit anyone except those with a morbid fascination, such as drivers who slow down as they drive past accident sites. I feel so sorry for Princes William and Harry, not only has their mother lost her life, but they are constantly reminded with every new so-called 'news story' that appears. I can't begin to imagine how horrific it must be to have pictures of a loved one in the last stages of their life aired to the world. How is this news? It's been 7 years since Diana died, when will she be finally allowed to rest in peace?

People need to just let it go. Les Moonves (CBS head honcho) will do anything for ratings, even something this low.

I watched the show tonight---nothing special, that's for sure. There weren't any gruesome pics or anything like that. Basically the show came down to this---she ho'd around with a lot of different guys, then died. She'd probably still be alive today had she not ho'd around. Oh well.

It's like they always say in the media "if it bleeds, it leads" it's not always right. but people will always watch. If so many people didn't watch, these shows woundn't air.

Ok I don't get it... they will censor a boob and go nutzo about everything else after that, but they will adamantly air someone's death.

Why can't people see past her reported 'flaws' and just leave her be? If she had died whilst out campaigning against landmines, would there STILL be all these negative news reports and documentaries about her... I doubt it.

I have to agree with Manum Robert a bit. She wasn't an angel like everyone makes her out to be and didn't she even cheat on her husband? She was a stuck up snob who thought she was above everyone. I'm not saying she deserved to die for this but the driver was etremely intoxicated! And was speeding! What would have happened if they had hit an innocent pedestrian? Then what, would we feel so bad for "poor" Diana? They could have just as easily killed someone else by their wreckless behavior of driving drunk and speeding through a tight tunnel like that. It isn't right to show her death like they do, but "if it bleeds, it leads" that's the way our society is.

Umm...She didn't cheat on Prince Charles, it was the other way around. Ya they were married but Princess Diana was never really his "wife". He was always messing around on her....She was everything but stuck up. She devoted her life to third world countries, helping those less fortunate and suffering from illness. She was depressed for years and was one of the best women to walk this planet. That last part is opinion but the prior was fact...I really can't believe you said she "thought that she was above everyone"...she had very low self esteem...her death was as tragics as Mother Theresa's because they were both such selfless people....

As tragic as Mother Theresa??? C'mon! I'm not saying that Diana didn't help others but I highly doubt it was as much as many people would think. She helped out but it always seemed like there was a television crew to get it on tape. If someone cares, they wouldn't have to make sure it was on tape. There are millions of people who do things to help out others and don't get the publicity that she did for being famous. The only reason what she did was so well known was because of her being in the spotlight. Please don't compare her to Mother Teresa, she's considered a saint or will be in fact a saint if she isn't already. Like I said, there are millions of people that help out and do it without feeling the need for recoginition that Diana felt. And it is a fact that her own actions brought on her death, it wasn't something tragic like being shot and killed or just a routine car accident. The driver was drunk and could've killed someone else, there is no disputing that, how would you feel then if someone else had been killed?

And one last thing, one person lived in that accident, the one person who was wearing a seatbelt. Maybe it was a coincidence but who knows for sure but God himself. But since we don't... A friendly public service anouncement for me- ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT! And I mean that seriously, it gets me mad when people don't wear their seatbelt, you fasten your seatbelt on a rollercoaster, do the same in the car also!

Mother Theresa deserves to be a saint, Diana isn't even close.
