| NFL Draft
This year's draft has been great so far. I laughed really hard when Eli Manning was selected by the Chargers and went up on the stage and was booed and the crowd started chanting, "Eli Sucks!." He got what he deserved for refusing to play for them. However, he has been traded to the Giants now so it doesn't make a difference.

The Eli incident was pretty funny. I'm not happy with the Browns' trade-up with Detroit in order to get Kellen Winslow (aka soldier boy). Cleveland gave up a 2nd round pick to Detroit in this year's draft. Detroit then picked Roy Williams. The Browns are a weak team right now. The last thing they needed to do was give up a draft pick---they need all the help they can get. Even if Detroit picked Winslow, then so what? Cleveland still could have picked either Roy Williams or DeAngelo Hall. Winslow is not significantly better than either Williams or Hall. Oh well. |

^LOL at "soldier boy" Winslow. He's a class A jackass, but one helluva football player as well. But I also really don't see what the Browns gained in that one. I'm happy with my Falcons picking Deangelo Hall. He's fast as anything, we need a shutdown corner, and is an electric returner as well. That other guy from Virginia Tech we drafted two years ago turned out pretty well too...so we'll see.

The Stillers got Big Ben, and that's all that matters. I give Tommy Gun til the third preseason game to lose his job...

I can't believe St. Louis picked Steven Jackson. They NEED a Quarterback, they should have traded up to get J.P. Losman, or drafted K-State's El Roberson... The "Eli Sucks" thing was funny too, and I can't help but saying "I'm a *****ing soldier!" again :).

I'm shocked it seems the Bills under Tom Donahoe could have done something right. If anything this is the season. The season that either the offense clicks or Bledsoe is out, thank God. If it isn't, it's Donahoe's head so this is a win-win situation. All we have to do now is come up with a way to defeat those pesky Patriots, Phins, and Jets...

A kid from my high school was drafted to the Titans. His name was Troy Flemming. He was a late round pick, but for a high school with about 300 people we're all happy

Kellen Winslow is a great pickup for the Browns. I watched quite a few Miami games and this guy is a gamebreaker. He can do it all, he can block and catch. He's got an attitude, but he is a beast on the field. This guy will help the Browns out significantly. They also picked UGA's Sean Jones, who was the second-best safety behind Sean Taylor. All in all, the Browns got what they needed, but they need to pick up a lineman in free agency now.

I'm happy with the Bears' picks. They took the guys they needed to play Lovie Smith's defense correctly, and they should be able to shut teams down next year.

I like atleast 2 of the players the panthers picked Warton & Gamble. They should reall help fill in a few holes the team has.

I'm not surprised Gamble slipped all the way back to the Panthers. Being an OSU nut, I have to say that he wasn't a first-round pick. He is a great athlete, but made many mistakes in coverage last year, including getting torched by Lee Evans for the game-winning touchdown against Wisconsin.

Gamble is another guy with an attitude problem as well, so it should be interesting to see how he turns out. Their seems to be more and more guys that have questionable attitudes coming out each year.

Gamble never had an attitude problem. He actually volunteered to play reciever on top of defensive back, he did a lot of charity work around Columbus. He's a good athlete, but overrated.

Gamble might not have an attitude problem, but he sure has an intelligence problem. "Gamble's score on the NFL's Wonderlic test also will concern some teams. The Denver Post reported his nine correct answers out of 50 ranked as the lowest score among cornerbacks. Twenty-one is considered an average score. Anything below 14 raises warnings a player won't learn the NFL's complex schemes." Taken from the link below... Here's a sample test: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228test.html |

That test was a joke, if Gamble really did get a 9 he is extremely lucky to be so good at football, otherwise he wouldn't be able to have a real job.
