Any Swimmers?

Does anybody here besides me and Kyle swim? If you do, tell your event and time.

I do...year-round. I suppose I'm best at back, although my free and fly (and hence IM) are doing quite well. I'm certainly no superstar, but I'm pretty happy with where I am. My 100yard fly is at :57.2 and 100 yard back is at 57 or 58 (I'm not sure). 100 yard free is at 52 or so. I've also had the chance to swim in the same events (and even heat) as Phelps over the past year, so that has been a pretty cool experience as well.

100 breast-1:04 (I'll be at 1:00 by the end of the season hopefully, that's the state cut).
200 IM-2:13
200 Free 1:56

BTW, FlyInBack, I get your username now seeing what you swim haha.

I swim just for fun tough. I'm not a very fast swimmer.

I practiced with our team in high school, but that just involved getting up at insane times and doing laps before school. Ive never been timed, and never swam competatively for our team since it coincided with tennis.

I swim but it's just for fun and I only swim in the summer. I can stay under water for 45 seconds with out coming up for air.

I can go 75yds under water without coming up for air...That's down back down in a 25yd pool and I can go all the way from one end to another in a long course meters pool. Good lungs (even though I have asthma (sp?) and being a breaststroker helps with the underwater pull).

Backstroke and breast stroke seem self explanatory as does butterfly. Me, personally, I don't know how to swim. Never learned, never wanted to.

IM is actually individual medley and it's when you swim each of the for strokes. the way it works is that you start off butterfly, then back, then breast, then free. there is also medley relay. same thing just 4 people swimming relay race and each one does one stroke.

as for Freestyle, it's whatever stroke you want but since everyone is usually fastest at front crawl, that's what everyone does.

My times are:
100 free: 54.5
50 free: 24.82
50 back: 27.29
50 fly: 26.4
200 free: 1:52-ish
100 back: 1:00

I'm really terrible at breast, IM, and distance, so I do a lot of sprints.
