Ever noticed how much POP is so popular and how bad it sucks.Why cant Allternitive Rock like Nirvana or The Smashing Pumkins come back and stop all the gay music there is now.

Sorry,but my old password wouldnt work.I was Big Fancy Rides.Promise to God.Now for the message.Nirvana and Smashing Pumpkins werent POP.They were Allternative Rock.I meant groups like them should spring up and kill all the POP wusses out now.

POP SUCKS! these babies get music written for them, altered songs (their voices don't sound exaclty like on the songs), and added music (none of them do the music themselves), and still suck. i listen to bands who actually create the music their playing

you guys should all get into the underground punk scene. that alternative stuff is still way to comercial(but at least they write their own music). and pop-punk (blink 182, sum 41, new found glory) crap makes me sick. the only popular bands that i like are weezer and radiohead.

yeah well POP is simply what is popular at the moment, right now Blink 182 and Weezer, are POP but it will slowly move towards rock and away from the teen craze that you think of.....

"Alternative" used to be cool. Every once in a while a good song will be a pop hit i.e. "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Today" (Smashing Pumpkins), "Beautiful Day", etc.

<BR>Alternative was cool in the eighties when Depeche Mode, U2, the Cure, New Order, and many obscure bands were about to become "pop"ular. Luckily some of them stayed good and didn't pander to pop radio. They made music that they and there fans liked. They were experimental yet made good music. Nirvana came along and changed a lot (I thought they were great, but they spawned A LOT of crappy music). Todays "alternative" has all been done before, and BETTER.... I wish Fred Durst would blow his brains out.

i'm sorry for putting NFG in with those other two. i also have 2 of their cd's and they are alright, but they are played on MTV and there seems to be a pretty noticable change from their early stuff to now. they havent completed the change yet, but im guessing they will by their next album
