The most disgusting experience of my life!

A few weeks ago, down in the basement, the air conditioner broke and leaked water everywhere. Well, we just found that out last night. All last week, my mom complained of a nasty smell in the house. We diddn't know where it was coming from until my mom walked over the vent on the floor and realized the smell was coming from the air conditioner.

So, last night, my mom went down into the basement while I was on my computer. A few minutes later, she screamed for me to come into the basement. The smell was freakin nauseating, I could hardly bare it. Anyway, I walked over to where my mom was, and she was pointing into the back room with her shirt over her nose. I looked where my mom was pointing.........

There was mold from celing to floor. The water that leaked everywhere had just been sitting there for weeks. The mold started at the bottom of some boxes that got wet, and grew up the walls. The mold was seriously like an inch thick.....it was disgusting. So my mom got me to work.... I was scraping mold off the walls and floor with my mom from 7:00-10:00 last night. For those of you who diddn't know, mold has the nastiest smell ever. I threw up in my mouth atleast ten times, but it was sokay' because I managed to keep it in my mouth and swallow it. When we were all done, we literally had a carbage bag filled with scraps of mold. It was seriously the most disgusting experience of my life.

Just thought i'd share that with everyone.

Maybe you continued to throw up because you kept swallowing it. Just let it out man.
So you hadn't been in the basement for a few weeks. I would have thought you'd go down to check the broken AC every once in a while.

We very rarely go down there., all we use it for is storage. We were clueless as to where the smell was coming from, until last night when my mom found it was coming out of the vent.

^ The smell is still here, but not even close to as bad as it was before. I'll take some pics of the area when I gaet my digital camera in the next few days.
