Some guy died about 2 years ago and his mummified body was recently discovered. Automatic pension deposits covered the automatic condo fee (and other bills) withdrawls, which was (in part) why no one suspected anything sooner.

Finally when a real estate agent was showing the house there was a dead body in one of the bedroom closets. They found out that he was a realtor and the comapny had reported him missing about a year ago. I never heard anything about a cause of death but last i heard they were saying foul play.

| | | It also depends on how the mail is delivered, whether centralized mailboxes in the lobby or mail slot type. Cause no matter what, you are bound to receive either bank statements, phone statements, or tax information. It's also odd that no maintence staff ever entered the suite to change such things as the HVAC filter or check of the smoke detectors; they do that at least yearly in my condo. |
