| | | is the race this weekend? i don't pay much attention to nascar, but the track is on the east side of town, and i think the area right around the track is in pretty good shape, but there are plenty of roads that are washed away, and it'll probbaly just be a headache trying to get around. |

| | | I don't think anyone would want to come to Richmond anyways, not exactly the nicest town...at least PKD/BGW and the atlantic shore allow Richmondians an escape from the city.

| | | well bryan, if mother nature has her way, there might not be a richmond to come to. In the past 2 years we've had, the devastating winds from hurricane isabel, an earthquake (sadly, no major damage), the fire (a few city blocks leveled), and now this flood. Ths shockoe bottom area is destroyed, an area 5 blocks by 4 blocks has been condemned. hopefully people will start to realize that richmond is a crappy place to live. hehe |

| | | LOL. I noticed the city was in bad shape but had no idea it was that bad. I remeber driving through the city after OKD one night with some time to kill and though i would go look for a bar. Well I was totally shocked with the way the city looked. Reminded me of Escape from LA with Kurt Russell. Anyway i did find a bar and was not suprised to find me and my friend were the only ones there besides the bartender. Can we say Ghostown. This was at 11pm.

| | | i don't think i'd be complaining. it took me 2 1/2 hours to make a 40 minute trip home yesterday afternoon. i'm lucky, no damage at my house, but yeah, it was pretty much confined to metro richmond. |
