Do you believe in ghosts?

Over the weekend, my friends and I went to check out some legendary Chicago area ghost stories. I've always had some interest in this and some of my friends went to check out a few places. First we checked out Bachelor's Grove Cemetary which is an old abandoned cemetary in the middle of a forest. I've been there a few times before, including once at night. It's a pretty spooky place at night, let me tell you.

After there we went to Resurrection Cemetary which is the site for one of Chicago's most famous ghost stories "Resurrection Mary". The story is that she was killed in an automobile accident in the 1920's or 30's. Since then she has been spotted outside the cemetary numurous times.

We checked out a few other less famous sites that night that were fairly creepy looking, but unfortunately didn't see anything that could be considered paranormal activity.

So do you believe in ghosts or even seen anything interesting or know of any great shost stories where you live at? If so, please leave any information or links to stories about it that you can.

Nope. I usually don't believe questionable things if I can't see it. The only real exception being, I'm somewhat religious. Yeah, I know, that doesn't make much sense, but for everyrthing else, seeing is believeing. I ain't not never seen no ghost.

Now. . . Do you believe in the Moon?

There was actually a thread like this concerning a ghost seen in england caught on video. I Can easily say No, I don't believe in ghosts, but I think most people on this site do.

But I don't!

The moon is just an illusion.

No.

I believe nothing supernatural actually exists, but we ourselves actually "see" things we want to for comfort or reassurance.

Well sfft....I think if I ever saw a ghost (which I won't because my mind is not LOOKING for them) I would believe.....much like if I saw anything that proved there was a god.....

The evidence for supernatural activity just is not there enough in full form for me to believe anything....

No. people can make up sensory (hope I used the right owrd there) reactions to nothing.

Here's my experiemt I use to prove this. Stand in a crowded space, and loudly proclaim "I farted!", but DO NOT actually fart. Observe people "smelling" the fart and reacting. I think that our brain does something like this with ghosts.

What would you have to see to believe in supernatural activity?

I won't go into the very long, but very good story here (right now anyways) but I've had encounters with the supernatural on more than one occasion. Enough for me to believe that there are such things as restless spirits that didn't quite get the message to continue on to wherever they are supposed to go.

i never have, but i recently saw something that makes me wonder. my friend sent me this pic of him and his biker friends. it was taken with his canon slr digital cam. 2 pictures were taken in quick succession, and the image only appeared in one. if you **** your head to the right, you can clearly see a face, and an arm reaching towards the camera. i have reduced the image quite a bit, as the original was almost 3mb. there is no signs of it being photoshopped, and i don't think my friend knows how anyway. there was no smoke in the area when the pic was taken. i can't come up with a good explanation. see for yourself.

Yeah, sure, why not? ;)

In fact, we have a "Blue Ghost" here in southern Texas -- honest!
