If you're dumping her over not liking roller coasters, then you've got reconsider why you get into relationships.

If she likes pukers and calm rides, balence it out, go on 5-7 rides that SHE suggests, and then you go on a coaster, that way it's even. Don't make comments like "This ride is for wimps. This park in blah blah has blah which is SOOOOOOOOOO much better." Don't comment on how bad a ride is to you, etc.

If she just hates amusement parks in general, don't go to them with her. Do something that she wants to do.

Thats not a good enough reason to dump her. I had 5 friends who hated coasters and will not ride them and finally after 2 years of nagging 3 of them have finally got on and now they really enjoy them. Still working on the other 2. Just keep nagging her to get on one

Dump her. I broke up with one because she thought GASM was the best coaster at Great Adventure...that's a warning sign you're with the wrong person!

I know it sounds like a Seinfeld episode, but it's true!

Go to parks with your friends and find other activities to do with your girlfriend. Problem solved.

That's a silly reason to break up with someone. You'll find that not a lot of girls are actually big lovers of coasters. If you're lucky, you will find one who at least likes to ride once in a while, but very doubtful you'll find someone who is crazy about them. Just look at our site for proof, how many girls do you see on here in comparison to the number of guys? It's nice if you can find someone fanatical about coasters, but don't hold your breath. Are you looking to break up with her over that or are there other reasons and you're just using that as an excuse?

I don't know to many guys that are as fanatical about coasters (or spinny rides) as I am. We here are a select few.

As for your girlfriend. Take it slow, and work her into it. If she cares about you, she'll eventually give'em a fair shot. Especially if she understands how much you love coasters and how you'd really like to share the experience with her.

I surmise that if her lack of affinity towards rollercoasters has raised doubts in your own mind as to the future of this relationship, I believe you should politely accost her and discontinue the relationship as it seems you were not given to commitment in the first place. That is my opinion.

That's certainly not a reason to break up with her. You can try to persuade her, but if she flat-out refuses, there isn't much you can do. There is more to life then coasters.

Geez talk about shallow. If it bothers you that much, don't take her to the park with you. Take a coaster loving friend with you instead.

I find it a huge quality. If they like coasters is typically the first question I ask em.

No really....

I think that quality can be much harder to find that liking coasters, plus I'd say it also more important. You can always get a friend to ride coasters, I don't think you want your friends to take care of the other thing too. Bottomline---keep your girlfriend. She may not ride coasters with you, but you can always ride....
