Have fun in those LONG services dude. I'm not Jewish, but I know how long those can get. Anyways, thanks for reminding me to block off my driveway to keep people from parking infront of it when trying to access the temple tomorrow.

Wow, thanks for letting me know. To celebrate, I won't go to work tomorrow.

Jewish kids get tomorrow and Friday off as excused absences. Catholics only get Ash Wednesday off, when will we stop being persecuted?

It works out quite nicely for us. Not only do we get all of your holidays off, but we get ours off too. I'm looking foward to a four day weekend because of this. Of course, next Saturday I'm going to be fasting for 27 hours.
Anyways, happy 5765 everyone! ;party; ;party;

Happy New Year!

I just happened to notice it was rosh hashanah on my calendar at work today.

I'm not Jewish, but I wish you the best for the new year.

That sounded stupid. Oh well, that's the best I can do at 12:00 am.

Peace.

I'm not Jewish, but I still take off their holidays. How do they I'm not? I even celebrate Kwanza, (do you have to be black to celebrate it?) if it means a day off, I'm taking it. Does anyone know of anymore religions or other races holidays I can grab so I can get more days off?

^ Singapore has "Racial Harmony Day" celebrated on July 21st. Does that count?

How about the Chinese New Year. Perhaps I'll start that thread, which might cater to all of about 3 TN members.

Well thank you all. And Happy New Year to all of my fellow Jews. BTW Aaron, I was the only one at the party who knew which year it is. Oh and matt, I don't go to services. We just have the parties. Although I am going to fast next Sat.
