| | | Chain store loyalty makes me LOL(Or LOUL for our Canadian and British friends).
It's like those people who drive 300 miles on their Harley Davidson's to go to a new Harley Davidson store, so they can buy a T-shirt with that store's name on it. |

| | | I've been to the Cabela's in Owattona, MN. I think it was the second one. It's huge! They've got a mountain in the middle with a mount of nearly every animal you can hunt in North America. It's very impressive.
I didn't buy anything though. Just stopped by since I was in the neighborhood. The place is more an attraction than a store around here.

| | | I haven't been to a Cabela's before. I know their is one in Houston which I have been by. I am not into hunting and fishing like my friends are, so of course they have been to one. It would be cool to go in one and look around. |

| | | I've been in one of these types of big camping/outdoor stores. It's in Gurnee Mills in Gurnee, Illinois just down the road from SFGAm. It's really big, pretty cool. Everytime I've been there, I always got an urge to go camping all of a sudden.

| | | Cabela's is definetly a major tourist attraction in this area. In fact I believe that tommorow is the 1 year anniversery of the store in Hamburg. It has alrady drawn around 10 million visitors. Of course that includes revisits. I love to walk through Cabela's and just see whats on sale. I have plenty of friends that don't like outdoor stuff but they love the store. My favorite part is probaly the gun library. It has some pretty neat antique guns. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
